❌Chapter 20: Date Night❌

*Ryder's POV*
Its 5:00 so i decided i better start getting ready. I pick out my matching Victoria Secret black lace set, a white strapless dress with detail on the chest that reaches mid thigh and red wedges. I take a shower and drown myself in my strawberry scented products and shaving every possible place before getting out and wiping myself. I wrap my robe around me and plug in my hair dryer and curling iron. I blow dry my hair until its completely dry then start to curl it into loose bouncy curls which actually turned out perfect. I walk into my wardrobe and close the door before putting my outfit on, i then did my make up which consisted of Mascara, Eyeliner and red lipstick. I walk out and double check that my windows, curtains and blinds are closed so he can't see me and so i can turn on my aircon ready for when i get back home, possibly with Nate. I grab my clutch that contains my red lipstick, phone and chewing gum, I'm half way down the stairs when the doorbell rings. I look at the clock to see its 7:00 on the dot, i walk over and open the door "holy shit" he mumbles with wide eyes "what?" I ask feeling a little self conscious "you look... Perfect" he says and brings me into a hug "you look quite handsome yourself" i say as we release. Nate is wearing black skinny jeans and a white button up with his hair messy yet so attractive! (Kinda like how he has it in Nash's Ouija board parody) he extends his hand out for me to take which i gladly except and we walk out to his car.

We drove for about 20 minutes close to out of town before we pulled onto a dirt road that was quite bumpy at first but got softer eventually. We pulled up to a quite large wooden cabin that was close to a beautiful swimming hole that was crystal clear. There are little fairy lights and lanterns that hang from the trees around the water hole and the front of the cabin as well as the trees surrounding us. He opens my door and i stare at it in complete awe when i see the view which is the whole of Omaha. I look up at Nate and peck his lips "thank you" i say once i pull away "anything for you princess" he says and kisses my cheek. He takes me over to the cabin and unlocks it with a key, we walk in and he leads me to the kitchen/ dining room where there is a personal chef awaiting for our arrival. He pulls out a chair for me and i sit down before he sets himself on the other side "hi, im your chef for tonight, what would you like?" He asks politely "could i please have chicken alfredo?" I ask and he nods "and for you sir?" He asks referring to Nate "i would like the spare ribs and steamed veggies please" he tells the man and he nods before going to work in the kitchen.

In about 20 minutes we had our meals and they were honestly worth it! They were delicious! Nate and i slouched down in our chairs obviously full "i hope you enjoyed your meals, it was a pleasure cooking for you both" he says "it was a pleasure having you to cook for us, thank you so much! It was delicious!" I exlaim and he slightly blushes, he looks around 19-21? "Thank you" he says "well im off but hoepfully i get to cook for you again soon" he says and walks out. I walk over and sit on Nate's lap "thank you for tonight" i say and kiss him "one more thing princess" he says once we pull away "okay?" I say more as a question, he grabs my hand and leads me outside. He walks us over to one of the rocks in front of the swimming hole under a tree which is also lit up with little fairy lights and lanterns. He gets down on one knee and grabs my hand in his "Ryder Jade, the day we met is still fresh in my mind like it was yesterday. We were 4 or 5 and our parents got together for the first time including Sammy's and the Jack's parents aswell. Our parents worked together and were all really close. They took us to a park in the morning and i remember that afternoon we were playing and giggling, you fell off the slide and scraped you knee pretty bad so Jack and I carried you over to your parents while Sammy and JJ were occupied doing something else. After that we all went to your house and had dinner with you. The boys and I's family didn't leave til really late that night because they were having a good time drinking and laughing. Me, you, Jack, JJ and Sammy all fell asleep in the screening room while watching Monsters INC. After that, that was our favourite movie to watch when we all slept over right up until we had a fight and stopped talking in 5th grade. The fight was over you telling me you didn't love me back when i told you i was 'in love' with you and i turned the guys on you. Ever since then we gave you shit and bullied you. I didn't want to but i couldn't find myself to stop. I realized this year that i really was in love with you and i wasn't being stupid. Thats when i had the guts to actually lay a hand on you because i knew i couldn't get you. Im sorry but on the positive side we are like best friends. You, you are my definition of perfect, i love the way your nose crinkles when you laugh or when you look at me and you have a special sparkle in your eye. I love your laugh and your smile could make an ice burg melt in an instant. I love when you take silly photos with Andrea and you scrunch your nose up, its quite adorable if you ask me. I love your petite body and when i wrap my arms around your body it just feels right and you're the perfect size. I love holding your hand because its so much smaller then mine and it just fits perfectly like its meant to be. I love kissing your perfect, soft and plump lips because ours mould together like my lips are only made for yours. I stun me everytime i see you to be perfectly honest with you. You just get more, beautiful, more stunning and more perfect everytime i see you. When i found out you were in that horrible car accident the other day, it broke me. I thought i was going to loose you but Liz said you would breeze through this like its nothing which you did but there was only one problem... You forgot about me. Thats when i lost it. I was literally going insane to the point where i was smoking and drinking all day, everyday but today when you came and seen me to tell me that you remembered everything i was the happiest guy alive. I can't imagine my life without you and i can't live without you. I want you, no i need you. So i guess what im trying to say is... Will you, Ryder Jade Gillies do the honours of being my girlfriend?" He asks and pulls out a box from his jacket "yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" I chant as he gets up and kisses me "turn around baby" he says and i do so. He tells me to lift my hair so again i do so and he places this beautiful necklace around my neck with a small pendant on it. I look at the pendant and its a love heart with our initials 'R.G+N.M' and then underneath our initials is today's date '14/3/15' i smile and look up at Nate before leaping into his arms and kissing his forehead, cheeks, nose, chin then finally his lips "i love you" he says "i love you too Nate" i reply and peck his lips. He carries us inside the cabin, closing it with his foot "wait, so we are actually staying here?" I ask "yes baby" he says and carries us up the stairs into the master bedroom "I got your clothes already, well Andrea did when you were in the shower. She come home, got your stuff, gave to me then left back to Taylor's. We will be going swimming and having camp fires, whatever you want. We can stay for as long as you want" he says and i can't help but smile at how perfect he is. We go into the room and change into comfy clothes which for him were just boxers and for me it was my black panties, his button up and no bra. The aircon was already on so it was pretty nice now "come here baby" he says and lifts up the covers, i giggle and run into the spot and cuddle into his chest as he slides his hand under my shirt and rubs circles on my back as well as play with my hair and hum songs into my ear as i drifted off into dreamland.
