❌Chapter 40: Dinner & Decisions❌

*Ryder's POV*
*Later the next day*
I put the lasagna in the oven and give the spaghetti and meatballs another stir before i hear a something drop and a loud groan, "fuck" Nate cusses, "what happened babe?" I ask, "i cut my finger" he says and shows me, it looks pretty deep so i take him into the bathroom, "you're so clumsy you know that?" I ask, giggling, "yeah i know babe" he chuckles and kisses my forehead, "buttttttt i love you so i don't mind it" i say, once again giggling, "anddddd i love you too princess" he says, this time kissing my lips.

I put the lasagna and spaghetti on the table along with the salad. If they don't want one they can have the other. I keep dancing and singing along to the music while setting up the table since Nate was in the shower, "nice moves little lady" i hear Sammy say causing me to jump a little, "how did you get in?" I ask, "the door was unlocked, duh" he says in an obvious tone, "of course" i mumbled. Just then Andy, Maggie, Madison- wait Madison? Where's Emily? I ask to myself, "Jack Finnegan Gilinsky where's Emily?" I ask, crossing my arms, knowing my past with this skank, "we uh, we broke up last week" he says, scratching the back of his neck, "and your solution was to get back together with that?" I ask, making a disgusted face, he opened his mouth to say something but Nate walks down the stairs and snakes his arms around my waist, "hey guy- what are you doing here?" He asks looking at Madison, "i could've asked the same thing" Andrea mumbles, "no seriously, someone tell me" Nate asks, getting angry, "Jack" i state bluntly, "seriously girls, what do you have against her?" Jack asks, clearly irritated, "are you fucking kidding me Jack? You cheated on me with the whore! Then you two start dating and you turn into a complete asshole! Why the fuck is it so hard for you to see that she is no fucking good for you Jack? Oh yeah, you're to blinded by how good she is in bed" i said, causing everyones eyes to widen, "look, I'm pretty, you're not, i can sing, you can't, I'm good in bed, you aren't, i have perfect friends, you don't" Madison says and my head snaps in her direction, "what did you just say?" I ask slowly walking towards her, "Ryd-" Jack starts but i cut him off, "fuck up, wanna say it again? Go on i dare you to" i say narrowing my eyes at her, "i shouldn't have to repea-" she was cut off by my fist colliding with her face, she gets up and we start fighting. We move into the loungeroom and Andy and Maggie grab her hair and fling her backwards causing her to fall to the ground, i get on top and start repeatedly punching her in the face. The thing about me is if i start fighting with someone i can't stop unless i am pryed off the person, literally. I feel someones arms wrap around my waist and pull me up, "okay princess, i think thats enough" I hear Nate say in my ear, she kicks me in the stomach with her high heel shoe, "you bitch, you fucking dog shotted me!" I yell, trying to get out of Nate's grip, Jack helps her up and holds her. Giving me a dirty look. I swing my hand back twice, hitting her the first time in the mouth and Jack in the nose the second time, "i may as well get this over and done with," i start off, "guys except you two, do you wanna move in with us?" I ask and their faces light up, "of course!" They all respond, "wh- what about us?" Jack asks, "what about you? We no longer have a friendship" i say and everyones eyes widen for the second time tonight, "y- you're joking right? We're best friends" Jack pleads, "were" i state blankly. He sighs in defeat before starting walking out with her, "Jack, if you walk out that door right now, you've lost it for good" i say and he shakes his head before walking the rest of the way. Guess we're done then. The rest of the night was filled with laughter and happiness but i couldn't help but feel the emptiness inside of me and everytime i look at the empty chair on the other side of the table that I've just lost my best friend to a 16 year old girl who can't keep her legs shut.
