❌Chapter 18: What?❌

*Ryder's POV*
Its funny because the only recognize The Jacks, Sammy, Liz and Cameron. The guy that walked out yesterday is someone i don't even remember from school? Ugh. Everyone is telling me that we had a thing or whatever but i dont remember it. The doctor come in and told me i could go home but i have to be careful doing things because of my broken ribs but Andrea said she will stay home and help me until im fully recovered which the doc said should only be a few days to a week. I slowly get up wincing abit to go to the bathroom and make my way there. I walk in and do my business before changing into my grey 'PINK' sweatpants and a black half singlet with a grey cardigan over the top which took awhile because my ribs are killing me. I finally walk out to only see the doctor in my room and my bags gone "hey Miss. Gillies, i came to inform you as to why you had surgery because you are probably really confused" he says "actually i am really confused" i say and he nods "you hit your head on the windshield and a fairly large piece of glass was found so we removed that and the cut in your hair should be gone within the next couple of weeks but will scar. There are 2 other major reasons as to why you had surgery as well... 1 is your appendix burst because of the impact of the car rolling and getting squished together and 2 is your heart had stopped just as you hit the outside of the hospital so we had to operate straight away for you to survive and we did keyhole surgery for both of the surgeries so you dont have any big scars except for the one on your head that will eventually fade away in the mean time also its actually not that big nor is it noticeable unless you actually seperated your hair apart and showed someone" he explains and i just stand there stunned "so i wouldn't even be alive right now if my heart had stopped any earlier?" I ask "thats correct" he says "thank you for that Doctor Todd" i say and shake his hand that was already out "no problem" he says and walks out. I grab my phone and handbag before walking out to see Andrea carrying my bag for me. I go to grab it but she moves it away "nuh-uh honey, im carrying this for you and im not letting you do anything but lay in bed for the next couple of weeks" she explains and i sigh "thanks i guess" i say and kiss her cheek, i walk to Liz, Cam and the boys thanking them and kissing their cheeks "well i gotta go but thanks again for everything, love you all" i say and start to walk out to the car.

We arrive home and i literally can't get out of the car my ribs are that sore. I tried to get out but i can't. I see Andrea running over to the house next door. A few seconds later her and that boy from yesterday started running over to me, i burst out laughing when Andrea trips and face plants into the ground but instantly stop because even laughing causes my ribs to put me in a world of pain. The boy comes over and picks me up bridal style and carries me upstairs and into my room, placing me on my bed gently. I smile then thank him and he smiles back "you still don't know who i am do you?" He questions and i shake my head "Ryder! You have to remember me please! You're everything to me! I was crushed when you said 'who are you?'. Its me Nate! C'mon just tell me this is a sick joke please?!" He asks and i shake my head once again "its funny because you remember the rest of them but not me?!" He screams and i flinch at his yelling "im sorry... Im just gonna go" he says and walks out, slamming my door in the process. Ugh, what the fuck!
