*Ryder's POV*
I wake up to white walls and a beeping machine, i look to my right to see Stella in a bed next to me, its only us two in this room. I instantly feel guilty, she is in this position because of me. There is a faint knock on the door, "come in" i say, a female police officer walks over to me and sits on the bed, "hi I'm officer Jess, i just wanted to ask you a few questions..." she starts off, "okay so what happened?" She asks, i explain everything and her jaw drops, "so he abused her and tried to get sexual intercourse from her then cut you when you had him by the neck?" She asks and i slowly nod, "okay, we will file a report and you won't get into trouble because it was defence okay?" She explains and i nod.

"Hey baby" Nate says, walking through the door and kissing my lips gently, "how are you?" He adds, "I'm okay, just glad to be away from Kyle. He's crazy i swear" i say while giggling, "can i see your cut?" He asks softly, "yeah" i reply before lifting up my hospital gown, there is a big cut just above the top of my belly button ring with stitches. I graze my finger over it lightly and instantly wincing at the contact. Nate leans down and presses his lips very lightly to the cut and looks at me, "I'm so sorry this happened" he says as his eyes start to water, "baby, it wasn't your fault. Please don't cry" i say and move over so he can lay next to me, he slides in and lays his head on my chest, wrapping his arms around my upper stomach. I feel a few tears fall from his eyes and onto my chest, "i can't believe I let this happen" he whispers, assuming i was asleep, i grab the hair in his face and bring it back, letting it fall through my fingers. I start to stroke his hair and he looks up at me with bloodshot eyes, "you heard that?" He questions quietly, "yes baby and its not your fault, none of us expected that" i whisper and kiss his lips gently, making out a little but pulling away before it got heated. I stroke his hair some more as he draws patterns on my chest and fall asleep slowly, admiring my perfect boyfriend.
