❌Chapter 39: Home❌

♦2 Days Later♦

*Ryder's POV*
Its around 10pm and i can't sleep. Nate is sleeping peacfully beside me as i take a few little glances at him. I arrived home this morning and laying in bed is all i have been doing. Lazy i know but they won't let me move. I stare at the ceiling when i feel Nate moving beside me, then his arms wrap around my waist, "can't sleep baby?" He asks in a tired voice, "not really" i sigh, "what time is it?" He asks, "like 10pm" i reply, still staring at the ceiling, "wanna go for a drive?" He asks, knowing it helps me with a lot of things, "please?" I ask, "lets go" he says and starts to get up, "babe, are you sure? You look and sound really tired" i question while biting my lip, "if it helps you sleep better then I'm positive" he says and i nod.

We get on the road and i use the blanket to cover myself. We chucked in a sheet, pillows and my king sized playboy blanket just incase we are to tired to drive back. We sit in a comfortable silence as i look out the window and listen to the sounds of the wheels against the gravel. Nate's free hand finds its way to my thigh, rubbing small circles around with his thumb. I intertwine our fingers and rub my thumb over his knuckles every now and again as we just enjoy the silence, "princess?" He asks, causing my heart to skip as it always does, "yeah?" I reply, "how would you feel about the guys moving in?" He asks, "i actually wouldn't mind, I mean they are always over anyway" i reply, giggling, "Andy and Sammy in one room, me and you in one, JJ and Maggie in one and Jack and Em in another" he explains, "do you wanna talk to them about it tomorrow? We could invite them over for dinner" i say and he nods, "grab your stuff tomorrow then and yeah we can sort it out from there" i say, smiling, "our happy little family" he says, kissing my hand "our happy little family" i repeat, smiling.

We arrive at Maloley point and we pull the back up and lay the sheet in the boot space. We cuddle up and pull the blanket up over us, "i love you baby" he says as he kisses me, "i love you too my boy" i say and peck his lips once more before laying on his bicep as he strokes my hair, instantly putting me to sleep.
