Nightwing edged closer, but Batman and Robin stood their ground. I backed up, forgetting someone was behind me.

I bumped into him, and then I moved out of the way as fast as I could, and speak of the devil-

and he shall appear.

The Red Hood.

For once, in this universe, I'm not the bad guy here.

"Who are you, Red Hood?" Nightwing turned and called out. Like he was expecting the truth.

"Something from your greatest dreams and your worst nightmares." I could feel his smirk through his mask, emanating with confidence. No, cockiness. Like he knew something funny that the Bats didn't.

Of course, we ran into this psycho as I was being chased away.

What are the odds. With me, they're never great.

But the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Let's find out how true that phrase was.

So when Nightwing reached out for me at the same time that Red Robin shot his grappling hook at the Red Hood, I knew I had to do something. I shot a web at the so called anti-hero, and yanked him out of the way. "Run!" I yell at him, dragging his arm along.

4 against 2.

He shook me off, but followed.

After a few seconds, his robotic generated voice calls out, "I could've handled that on my own thank you very much."

"Your welcome." I answered with a eye roll. "Who are you?" I ask to to deflate his ego. I know exactly who he is, but it's not like I chose to be here next to him. But I could keep him in check instead.

"You know who I am." The Red Hood grunts out, still running. "Real question is who are you and why Gotham of all places?"

I groan. "Why is every guy in a mask asking me 'What's your business is Gotham?' Look I didn't choose to be here I just ended up here." I suddenly shift left and the Red Hood follows my actions. I realize he's still waiting for an answer. "Dark Web."

He nods, barely giving me a reaction.

I web across the buildings, and the Red Hood follows me with a grabbing hook. But I know that all the Bat and his gang have to do is have more endurance, all they have to do it out run us.

We need to disappear and quick.

"We should split up." I say, leaping across the buildings, towards the East side of Gotham.

"No you dragged me into this, we either both escape or we both get brought it."

"For the record, I did not drag you into this."

"You said my name, doll, so I was summoned."

"Is that what Satan said when he first visited you?"

He turned around and started firing shots at the Bats. "Ha ha ha."

The Red Hood is breathing hard, trying to keep up with me, leaping across buildings and keeping the vigilantes at a distance.

Now it was my turn. I turned to see Nightwing and Robin were directly behind us.

I webbed their legs together and threw them onto the other building's roof, limbs tangled with each other, as they argued to get out of the mess.

We still had to deal with Red Robin and Batman.

The Red Hood stops, and turns to face them. "What are you doing?" I say, ready to disappear.

"Some of us aren't common criminals. I'm not here to run from Batsy."
