BatComputer announces the arrival of two speedsters. "A-04: Flash, B-27: Kid Flash."
Nightwing subtly flinched at the sound of Kid Flash's name, but it was only noticeable if you were already looking at him.
And then it hit me. Dick's best friend Wally West, was the former Kid Flash, and had sacrificed himself to save the world.
Flash runs in, and his mini clone follows close behind.
I stopped leaning against the BatComputer, which Tim has been complaining about for the last 5 minutes.
"Flash! Bart! You made it." I say. Flash waves, and speeds up to go and talk to Bruce.
"But- what- how?" Bart says, because he hasn't told me his secret identity. He pulls off his mask.
"It was really easy. That's crash dude?" I mimicked him, when he said it at that party and at Mount Justice.
"Stop bullying my friend." Tim says, unable to unglue his eyes form the monitor, trying to type and not spill the coffee in his hands.
"Wait, I got something for you." Bart says, Tim looks at me and shrugs.
I got a bad feeling about this.
The wind gushes out of the BatCave, and my hair flies behind me. Half a second later, he's back and all my hair is in my face.
"Here." Bart says, holding something out for me.
I detangled my hair from face, and I'm horrified.
Bart is handing out a bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you." I say a bit awkwardly, and eyeing Tim. Tim widens his eyes in horror, because he knows how, um, territorial, Jason gets.
Dick says Jason just gets jealous when it comes to me. I've never been a touchy person, but Jason is big on PDA.
In public, he's always trying to touch me in some way, and he always likes to hold hands.
When I've been hanging out with one of the Bat Boys for too long, he'll come and interrupt somehow.
It started out with just holding my hand or something cute and innocent like that, but it got worse.
Jason would come behind me, and put his chin on my shoulder, or he's wrap his arms around me as his signal that he wanted to spend time with me.
If I would ignore him, it would only get worse.
Once he even literally slung me across his shoulder and took me away from playing video games with Replacement. It was not a pretty sight, because I was pounding at his back because I was laughing so hard, I couldn't breathe. When I passed out, Tim and Jason were horrified and got into a fight because of it.
So yeah, maybe it was not the best idea for me to be in the BatCave with such a huge flirt as Bart.
We did not need another dead Kid Flash.
"Of course, beautiful." He says, and winks.
"Okay Bart, you're way too young for me, and you're from a different timeline. Besides, I have a-"
"Viv?" Jason calls out, walking down from the Manor, while cleaning his guns.
I dropped the bouquet of flowers.
It was official, I had the worst luck and the worst timing.
"Hey Jason, I-" I bend down to pick them up, "where's Bruce?!?" I whisper yell.
