I leave the Red Hood without another thought.

Tracking Robin's location is the easy part, as I'm led to the top floor of an abandoned warehouse.

Deja vu much?

I crawl in through an window, several stories above the ground. I cling to the ceiling, as the Joker enters the room, his goons guarding every door.

Damian is near the center of the room, unconscious. As if sensing my presence, he joins the land of the living.

He doesn't look scared at all, he looks more frustrated more than anything, as his weapons are all beyond reach.

"Oh goody, you're awake." The Joker says, "Now we can wait for her."

"What do you want from me?" Robin asks.

"Oh I don't want you, you're worthless. I've gotten my hands on more Robins than I care to count. I want something original, the shiny, new toy of Gotham."

"She'll never come alone. You want her, you'll get Batman and Red Robin and Nightwing too."

Maybe I should've listened to Oracle.

"You sure about that?" The Joker says. "Bats is busy tonight."

Damian begins to scan the room, then looks up, and we make eye contact.

He glares, because I'm all alone. I put a finger over my mouth, begging him to stay quiet.

"And if she doesn't come?" Robin asks.

"Then you and I will have fun. I scared the first Robin out of his job, scared him out of Gotham too, he wasn't much fun. The second one was mouthy. His name was Jason." My blood chills, as I think of my Jason.

It couldn't be the same Jason as-

My thoughts are interrupted by the Joker. "His screams were the loudest. He was the most fun to break. And then look on Batman's face, when he held his limp body- priceless! But then the Batman wouldn't let me get even close to the third. No fair."

Damian face is solid stone.

The Joker shrugs, with an evil grin, "If Dark Web's not coming, I guess you and I can get started."

He puts down his gun, and picks up a crowbar. Right as he's about to swing it, I drop down from the ceiling. The Joker is between me and Damian.

"Let him go."

"Lookie here, spidey has finally joined us. Caught in a web." He starts laughing.

"You sure about that?"

"This Robin is fine. Maybe I've gone too long without messing with Batman's side kick. The burden will land on this little birdy. Like pushing him out of nest before he's ready."

The Joker pushes Damian, still tied to the chair, into the window, and it shatters. He begins falling, and I leap over to catch him with my webs.

Damian swings himself back into the building, a few floors beneath us. I hope that he'll be able to escape and grab some backup, because I've left myself exposed, with no time to defend myself.

I feel a prick in my neck, and I start laughing uncontrollably. It's Joker's special batch of laughing gas. But it's not enough to knock me out. I start making my way towards the Crown Prince of Crime.

It takes a few more darts, to make me collapse to the floor, and his maniacal laughter empties out the room with my own.
