Rene had been sitting on the bed next to Mikaela playing with his hair while lacus went to get some blood. Being close to a human and having a craving for blood isn't the best idea after all.

Coming back to his bedroom he looked at rene who seemed to be rather out of focus. Going over to his friend he placed his hand on the other his shoulder getting his attention. Handing over a bottle of blood the dark haired vampire took it from him getting up. "thanks" lacus just hummed and watched how his friend chucked down the blood. "you know staying that close to him while thirsty does not help right?" "i am aware"

The next few hours were rather uneventful. Vampires don't really need sleep so lacus and rene stayed awake making some homework and playing around on their phones.

Eventually, it had turned 7 AM which would mean school was starting in an hour and a half. Both boys got ready for school, putting on their uniforms and packing their bags. Lacus sat down next to their human friend gently shaking him. "mika wake up school is starting soon" swatting his hand away mika opened his eyes a little looking up at the vampire. "are you going to be okay to go to school today mikaela? We could bring you home first if you want to otherwise" sitting up it took him a few seconds to figure out what the other had said. "no I'm fine to go to school" rene nodded and mika got out of bed grabbing his bag from the floor. "do you have your uniform with you mika?" "mhm yea, can i change alone?" both vampires nodded and left the room letting the other change his clothes.

After around ten minutes the blonde boy walked into the living room downstairs where the other two were waiting for him. "you ready mika? I'm sorry but i don't have anything to eat, you wanna stop somewhere on the way?" "no it is fine i don't normally eat breakfast anyway so let's just go" getting up they all put on their shoes and started walking to school, they would be pretty early seeing as it isn't too far away and they still have about an hour left before class starts.

The walk to school was rather uninteresting. They didn't really talk about anything but it was a comfortable silence that rested among them.

Walking into the building there weren't many people yet. Some older students who wanted to be on time to be able to get some extra credits for perfect attendance and of course people who had to come early for detention that they had skipped on other days.

"hey mika are you able to come over again after school, that project still has to be finished" "sure i'm free" the vampire smiled and slung an arm around the human his shoulder continuing to walk to their classroom despite being way too early.

Getting to class lacus let go of mikaela who sat down on his seat, lacus went to sit down next to him and rene turned the chair from the desk in front of him around now sitting at mika his desk.
