Abhi's pain - 1

Vetri came home late. He knocked at the door and Abhi opened it for him.

Ignoring her,he went to wash his hands.When he came he saw her plating his food. Irritated, he went and snatched the plate from her.

He sat down to eat. Abhi kept water for him. She waited for him to finish. As usual he went without clearing his plate.Abhi washed it then went up to the room.Vetri was resting on his bed browsing his phone. Spreading the mat on the floor, Abhi lied down and curled up like a prawn.

Abhi was suffering from period cramps since evening. She wanted to sleep early due to the pain and tiredness however everyone else had gone to bed and there was no one to open the door for Vetri so she tolerated the pain and waited for him.

The pain became severe. Abhi could not sleep. She was tossing and turning. Vetri too could not sleep as she was groaning in pain. He thought she was doing it on purpose to irritate him. He switched on the light.
