Shakthi's friend Vetri - 1

Shakthi arrived. He met Vetri on the way and took him home.

None of the Shankara Narayanan family members knew about Vetri and Shakthi's friendship. It was shocking for Vetri himself as he understood Shakthi was related to Abhi just a couple of minutes ago.

Padma gave a ‘saaniya mithichaa’ reaction and SN let his eyebrows do the talking as usual. The rest stood dumbfounded.

Shakthi introduced Vetri as his friend. Abhi came down from her room.

Seeing Vetri with Shakthi Abhi went speechless.

Shakthi went to hug Abhi. Vetri was burning inside but he suppressed his rage as Shakthi was his childhood friend and he knew Abhi. Before he could hug her, Abhi stepped back and took cover behind Periyamma. She looked at Vetri.

Abhi went to the kitchen. Shakthi pulled Vetri and made him sit on the sofa. SN also joined. All were still in a state of shock.

Abhi brought ‘jilu jilu’ orange juice for the men.

Seeing Vetri she became nervous and her hand trembled. Seeing her shake in fear, Vetri panicked. He tried to catch the tray to ensure she did not drop it and accidentally touched her hands. She let go of the tray and the glass toppled on Vetri causing juice to spill on his shirt and pants.

S: Oh no! Enna Abhi idhu ? Sorry Vetri…really sorry…

He realised he blurted out. Abhi gestured him through eyes to keep quiet. The rest were also confused as to when Vetri knew the plan of their house. Only he and Abhi knew that she had housed him for a week when he was hurt on his leg. 

Vetri tried to do damage control.
