Abhi was getting ready for college.For the first time she anointed her hair partition with a streak of kungumam.❤️

Vetri ironed her clothes and prepared breakfast for them. He also packed lunch for her. Her college bag was in her house so Vetri gave her money to buy a new set of books. He went with her to college. They were surprised to see Periyamma and Padma there. Abhi ran and hugged them. She cried and they too. Vetri greeted them and stood aside to give them privacy.

They spoke for a while. Abhi's mother passed her college bag and also another bag of clothes. Periyamma gave her cash. Abhi hesitated at first but Periyamma insisted so she took. She also gave her credit card for Abhi but she refused.

P: Mappillai, neenga enga Abhi'ya kalyanam panikitathula engaluku santhosham dhan. Ungala mathiri oruthar kedaichathu enga ponnu senja punniyam...

Periyamma narrated the incident at the wedding hall where Vetri adjusted Abhi's skirt properly and pulled the blanket over her while she was asleep unlike guys of his age who would take advantage of the situation. She said that she had full confidence in Vetri that he would take care of Abhi more than they did. She also blessed them to succeed in life.

He welcomed them home wholeheartedly. The ladies were pleased. Wishing them well, they left.

When Vetri and Abhi returned home, Poongavanam and his wife were waiting for them. They had some shopping bags in hand. Vetri and Abhi welcomed them home. Abhi served them refreshments.

Mr.P: Adhu onnumilla'da...ippothan kalyanam aagiyirukku ungaluku pethavanga periyavanga irundha paarthu senjirupaanga...Ippo andha edathula naanga dhane irukkom, ungaluku  muraiyaa seiyavendiyatha seiyanum'nu un anni virumburaa....

He paused and looked at his wife who cast her gaze down feeling awkward.Vetri and Abhi exchanged puzzled looks.Mr.Poo's wife took Abhi to the room so that he could explain to Vetri.

Mr.P: Chinna pulla'na pinna yethuku love panne? Chocolate,biscuit vaangi kuduthu saapda vechu azhagu parka vendiyathu dhane?

Vetri had no answer.

Meanwhile Poongavanam's wife called the neighbour lady to assist her to doll up Abhi. As their room was used by Vetri, the neighbour lady invited Abhi to get dressed at her place. They draped Abhi in a new silk saree. They adorned her hands with glass bangles and her hair was laden with fresh jasmine flowers.
