One of the henchman stepped forward.Surprisingly he looked like Vetri.

He twirled his moustache. Vetri stood unflinched.

That guy's gaze fell on Abhi's thaali. He reached out to grab it. Abhi held on to her thaali to safeguard it from the rowdy. Before he could lay his hand on it,

He got a hard one on his cheek and interestingly it came from a woman. Abhi saw her and was stunned. She looked like her long lost sister.

"Idhu Amman kazhuthula irundha thaali idha arukardhuku unakenna urimai irukku?" she fearlessly questioned the rowdy.

"Thaali'nu per vechitta manjal kayiru appadiye mandhira kairu aagiduma?"he snapped her.

They began arguing. The rowdy was firm on wanting to cut Abhi's thaali and the girl was trying to protect it from him.She slapped him for the second time. In his fury, he went in to the sanctum and came out with another thaali. He put it around the neck of the girl who was talking too much. She went speechless.

"Ennamo thaali thaali'nu guthiche...andha ponnu kazhuthula irukarthu dhan ippo un kazhuthulayum irukku...parpom idha thooki kazhati veesuriya ille un koodave sumakkuriya..."

He strode off. The poor girl started to weep thinking of her fate. Vetri and Abhi exchanged looks.
