It was very late in the evening but Vetri did not budge from there. Seeing SN's car approaching, Vetri became alert.

V: Aiyooo maama! 😰

He hid himself behind a bush so SN did not spot him. Once the car went in, Vetri heaved in relief. He stepped out of the hiding. Then he saw Surya's car.

V: Aiyooo 'kaathuvaakula rendu kaathal' machan!😰

Again he went into hiding. Only after Surya's car was out of sight, Vetri surfaced.

V: Shyabhaaaa...enna aarambame ivalo attagasama irukku sari parpom...

Perched on his bike, Vetri was watching Tom n Jerry cartoon on his phone.

Abhi came out again to check if he had left but he was still there. Seeing her, he straightened up and smiled with hopes in eyes that she would speak to him.

It was night. Abhi reclined on her bed to sleep when it began to rain.

She stared into his eyes. Slowly he slid his hands to the exposed area of her waist. Abhi went speechless feeling his cold hand touch her skin. His teasing gaze made her stomach churn.
