Vetri and Abhi were getting ready to leave to Kanchipuram. Kamalamma packed eatables for Abhi. Ammachi insisted that she stayed with them until Abhi's delivery but she politely refused stating she had college. Ammachi advised Vetri to take care of her well and to be extra careful as it was her first pregnancy.

A: Poitu varom Ammachi....

They took her blessings.Informing everyone, they left the place.

Kamalamma lamented to Nandhini.

N: Yean athai maama kita oruthadava pesi parka koodatha?

K: Nethu rathri kooda pesinen avaru manasu erangale enna panradhune enaku theriyala Nandhini...

In the car, Abhi leaned on Vetri's shoulder. He knew she was upset as they had come leaving Ammachi alone.

A: Vetri, Ammachiya namma kooda kootitu poyirukalam'la...

V: Avanga thaatha vaazhntha veeda vittu engeyum poga mattanga'da... Naandhan unna konja irundhuttu vara sonneyn nee kaykala....ippo azhuthutu irukke...ippo kooda onnum kettu pogala, vandiya naan thiruppa sollatta?

She looped her arms around his.He kissed the tip of her head.

Vetri took good care of Abhi like her mother would. He cooked her favourite dishes and fed her. Whenever she raided the tins or fridge for junk food to satisfy her cravings, he had it replaced with fruits and healthier snack options that earned a glare from her but he knew how to pacify her so it did not end up in fights. 🤣

Vetri suggested her to take a break from studies for a year and focus on her and baby's wellbeing. He wanted her to rest at home and cherish the phase however Abhi did not want to cite pregnancy as an excuse and waste a year. She was aware that she had to take a break after the birth of their child but until then she wished to continue going to college. Though he was worried for her, knowing how determined she was he did not want to discourage her and supported her in whichever way he could.

Soothing her bump with one hand and holding the book in the other, Abhi paced up and down the hall revising the day's lessons. Vetri felt bad seeing her studying instead of resting.

Abhi went to prepare dinner but Vetri chased her out of the kitchen.

A: Yean ippadi panreenga? Naan samaicha dhan ennavaaam?

V: Onnu padi ille rest edu athavittu samaikiren paathram kazhuvuren'nu indha pakkam vandhe kaduppagiduven paarthuko...pesaama poyidu...

A: Enaku onnumilla Vetri naan panren...

He did not allow her.

She was writing notes when Vetri went in with the food plate.Putting her book away she went to take the plate.

A: Kooptiruntha naane vandhirupene...

V: Nee padi, naan unaku ooturen...

A: Illa paravayilla...naane...

He feigned anger.

V: Sollikitte irukken...ethirthu pesikitu...vaaya thora...

He fed her while she studied.
