SN and family arrived at the venue. They were given a grand welcome. SN met some of his close friends and they exchanged pleasantries.

"Abhi enga aala kaanom?" one of them enquired.

"Avalukku dhan marriage aagidiche....husband kooda iruppa..."another replied.

"Enna Shankar, Abhiyayum unga mappillaiyayum koottittu vandhirukalame....ava kalyanathukku kooda engala invite pannale...."

SN smiled nervously to evade answering questions about Abhi and her husband however everyone who met him asked about Abhi. SN felt like running somewhere.

PA: Ennanga idhu, varavanga ellaarum Abhiyayum mappillaiyayum visarichittu irukkanga....ennanu solradhu?

SN: Adhan un ponne solla sonnaale....oorula ille'nu sollunganu.... adhe kaaranatha solla vendiyadhu dhan vera vazhi?

SU: Innum avalalayum andha porukkiyaalayum enna'laam avamana padanumo theriyala...

They went in to the party hall and sat at the round table designated for SN and his family.

Abhi paced up and down the hall.

A: Vazhakkama pombalenga dress panradhukku time aagum aambalenga seekiram ready aagiduvaanga....inga ellaam thala keezha irukku....naan seekirama vandhutten avara innum kanom.... first time coat suit pottukka poraaru help'ku naan irukkavaanu ketta enna veliya thalli kadhava lock pannitaaru....time vera aagittu irukku aala innum kanom.....

A couple of minutes later,

Abhi heard the tap of shoes on the wooden steps and turned. She was in awe seeing Vetri tread down the stairs in style.🔥

V: Ready....polaama?

Abhi stood like a statue. He looked dapper and so charming that Abhi could not take her eyes off her man.

Vetri waved his palm in front of her face to distract her. Still there was no movement from her side. He shook her by her shoulder.

A: Huh...uh...mmm...

V: Time aagudhu kelambuvomaa?

A: Mmm....polaam vaanga...

They sat inside the car and Chithappu drove.

Darshan and his parents entered the party hall. They met SN and family and greeted them. Darshan looked smart in a black tuxedo.

D: Maama, Vetriyum Abhiyum varale?

SN looked at Padma. She replied on his behalf.

PA: Ille'pa avalukku konjam odambukku mudiyale....adhan varale.... mappillaiyum ava kooda irundhu avala paarthukuraaru....

D: Oh appadiya...sari.... avangalum vandhurundha nalla irundhurukkum...it's ok...

They spoke for some time and Darshan and his family moved to the table beside as per their seating arrangement.

Unknown to others, Deepthi was secretly taking snaps of Darshan on her phone. At one point in time, Darshan looked at her and caught her with her phone raised before her face but directed at him. She quickly swapped the camera mode to selfie and made poses pretending to take selfies of herself.

Darshan got up. Seeing him approaching her, Deepthi's heart beat increased. She became nervous.

Darshan showed his palm gesturing for her phone. He was stern.Deepthi thought she was going to be dead if he saw his solo snaps in her photo gallery including the most recent one of him which she took secretly hiding from her room when he and Vetri were talking in the hall.
