The following week I met with this woman, she told me to sit down and that she had several messages for me. I asked her from whom, your own family, the family you lied to and the woman that loved you like no other. I'm not judging you she said, but they can't rest until they have their say. I sat down, the woman called out all the names, she told me that those that have departed are here. The woman went through them all, soon they all walked into the light and their business was finished on earth. I was delighted, finally I could get on with my life, the medium picked up on my thoughts and she stated, "your troubles are far from over, dear." I asked her to clarify, but she gave me a warning, that if I harm another person, that she would prove I'm a killer and my life has been a lie. I knew from that moment on, that I couldn't do anything to hurt another, ever again. The woman refused to tell me what will happen to me, but she assured me that I'll come out the other side a stronger and more stable woman. The woman also agreed with me, that something from that ship has attached itself to me, causing me to have these horrendous thoughts.
That night I went home, a face appeared to me in my mirror, it told me I had a task ahead, it told me I had to return all the survivors to the sea, they including me were not supposed to survive that night. I couldn't do that, it also knew I couldn't do it, so it was doing it sometimes using me. I didn't understand why the Golds died, or Michael or anyone not on the ship? It seemed it wanted souls, it didn't matter which souls. The thing in the mirror wanted 700 souls, one for each of those that survived, it said it was owed to them. I needed to speak to the woman again, I needed to tell her what I was told. I made my way back to the Quarter, she was awaiting me, she whispered, "it's appeared to you? It's told you what it wants?" I nodded in agreement with her, she said, "come inside and talk, it'll be safe in here, no evil can enter my house." I knew she was right, when inside I don't have these feelings, I felt like I was in Belfast, happy and loved. Now I felt like the Grim Reaper. I began explaining to her what I seen in my mirror, she explained that it was a demon, a bad spirit, the ships owner must've delved into the occult, it made sense, Titanic wasn't christened like any other ship. The woman told me that she often seen rich people that gained their wealth through Faustian Deals. I had learned the ships owner escaped on a lifeboat that night. The woman explained, that she felt it was him that contacted a demon, that if I wanted to get out of this bind, then I must kill him. I didn't understand how this would break the pact? The woman explained that if he dies, then the deal dies with him. The woman gave me a blade, one made from the bones of a Saint, it would end his grip on me. The demon can still taunt me, but I must resist and not give in. The woman stated that I must give up on my quest to have Clarissa, at least until this is all over. I agreed, I had to leave her alone while I tried to end this curse.
The woman helped me find Mr Ismay, he was hiding out in a house in New York, he's hiding from the world since the court. I began preparations to travel to New York the following day, the woman gave me a tincture that I must drink every four hours until the moon is high in the sky, by then I will have found him and the deed will be done. I didn't contact Clarissa, I got a coach to the train station, I took the tincture as directed, the moon was high in the sky by the time i reached his apartment. I rang on the doorbell, he never answered, I opened the door and Mr Ismay was dead on the floor. I thought this is a godsend, I didn't need to kill him. I travelled back to New Orleans the next morning, the woman said she seen the ships owner dead, but the road ahead is still a bumpy one. I asked why? The woman said, "Mr Ismay took his own life, had he been killed with the instrument I gave you, then the deal was over, but you got there too late. I have a plan if you're interested?" I asked her what else can we do? The woman explained "there's a way to send you back to Titanic, to that very night, to four hours before the sinking where Mr Ismay would be asleep in his staterooms." I asked "how?"she said it's called remote viewing, your body would be here, yet your soul would be back in time. I asked how I was to carry the blade with me? She explained the blade can travel anywhere. The woman was making a brew, it would send me there, she told me that the only person that I could interact with was the target. I would see everyone but they wouldn't see me. I drank the potion, it put me into a slumber, soon I was back on Titanic. I wandered the passages to find his room, I couldn't find it, I went to the crews station where it kept all the details of the passengers, i was soon looking at the room number of Mr Ismay. I made my way through the passages again, I found his room, I opened the door, he heard it, soon he woke up. Mr Ismay demanded to know why I was in his rooms? I never answered, I sunk the blade into his chest. Mr Ismay bled out in the room.
As I was leaving, I seen the same demon in the mirror, he laughed, he said, "do you think that would've worked, you killed the deal, but you are a soul that's killed for love, you will finish his task." I was about to tell him that I wouldn't, but he disappeared. I woke up and told the woman everything, she explained that demons lie and that if he does come back, I am to ignore him, his masters will deal with him eventually as he never got the souls he was supposed to retrieve. It made sense but I didn't want to be haunted by this thing for eternity. I was advised to keep in contact with the woman, also to go back to church and pray for my soul. I must also confess my sins. I wondered how I was to explain to a priest I killed for the love of a woman? I didn't care, I needed this demon off my back. This demon has an iron grip on me.
