Jorge arrived at Paglaum at around 12 noon and there are already so many people waiting for the gates to open. They have occupied Lizares and Lacsons Streets just outside the venue. It was not easy to trail over the crowd and enter the venue.
When Jorge arrived, the volunteers are already preparing the venue and she helped in everything that she can. After 2 hours, people started to enter the venue and just that, the venue was almost full.
A few hours later, the senatorial slate of the vice president arrived but VP Leni and Sen. Kiko is not yet around. They may be having their caravan going to Bacolod.
"Jorge!" the head of the volunteers called on her
"Yes po?" she asked
"Pwede bang pakisuyo naman nitong mga bottled water? Pakidala naman doon sa holding area ng mga kandidato." the lady asked her
"Sure po ate. Dadalhin ko na." Jorge answered
She immediately went to the holding area where the senatorial slate of VP Leni is at the moment.
"Good evening po. Ito na po yung mga bottled water para po sa inyo." she said
"Thank you, dear." said a soft but very familiar voice at her back
The voice that she knew she had heard a lot of times in the television.
She turned around to see the woman with the soft and sweet voice and she had a gay panic when she finally saw who it was.
"Senator Risa Hontiveros!" she exclaimed
"Hello." the beautiful lady senator greeted her
"Oh my god!" she exclaimed and no other words came out of her mouth as the girl facing Sen. Risa Hontiveros was too stunned to speak
When she finally had the courage to speak, she asked the senator.
"Ma'am Risa, pwede po bang magpa-picture?"
"Of course! Come here." Risa answered and had a picture with Jorge
"Ma'am last na po. Pwede pong pa-hug?" she courageously asked
"Sure." Risa answered and hugged her tight
Jorge cannot believe what is happening. It feels like a dream.
She was never interested in politics nor it is normal for her to fangirl over politicians but Leni and Risa are the only exception.
"Hala ma'am ang ganda niyo po sa personal. Nakakabakla po kayo. Ruler nalang po yata ang straight." she said out of overwhelming excitement
Upon hearing what Jorge just said, Risa let out a burst of laughter which made Jorge fall in love with her even more.
"Jorge kalma, sa Mama Leni mo na yang si Sen. Risa. Magiging mother-in-law mo yan someday." she scolded herself
"May nasabi po ba akong mali? Sorry po pero totoo pong ang ganda niyo." she said apologizing to Risa
"No worries. It's fine. Thank you ha." Risa said
"You're welcome po, Ma'am Risa. Pasensya na po ulit. Nagfa-fangirling lang po ako." Jorge answered and apologized again
She was about to leave the tent when Risa asked her again.
"What's your name nga, hija?" asked Risa
"Jorge po, ma'am. Jorgina Amalia po." she answered and left the tent
When Risa heard her name, it was her turn to be too stunned to speak. The girl who just fangirled in front of her has the same name as the little girl of her bestfriend Leni, who died in a car crash but well, the body was not recovered and Jorge has a striking resemblance with Leni. She was meditating on what just happened when one of the volunteers called her.
