Jorge went out of the van and walked towards the church.
She was not really angry with Leni but she used it as a reason to go out of the van because she was about to puke. She is not used to travel in an airconditioned and enclosed vehicle for it makes her nauseous. She was also embrassed to tell Leni about it especially that her staff are there.
Jorge does not deny the fact that she has a travel sickness and travelling makes her nauseous. The smell of the carpet upon opening the door of a car makes her stomach rumble and it makes her dizzy.
She did not lie when she told her mom that she needs to breathe, or that she needs some air. It was true.
Jorge first went inside the church for a short thanksgiving that she did not puke inside the vam or else everything will be ruined for her.
After that, she went to the bathroom to calm herself and to puke if needed.
When she entered the bathroom, no one was there so she did all her best to let out what is hurting her stomach. She puked on the lavatory facing the mirror.
"Kailan kaya matatapos ang pagsusuka ko sa biyahe. Nakakahiya." Jorge talked to herself and let out a sigh
"Ayan kasi, sama ng sama pero suka naman ng suka. Ang lapit lang ng Quezon City sa Pasig pero nagsusuka. Haynako Jorgina." she scolded herself
She was surprised when she heard someone unlock the door of one of the cubicles.
"Patay! May ibang tao pala dito. Narinig pa niya ang pagsusuka ko." Jorge thought to herself
She fixed her things and was about to leave the bathroom but it was too late. The lady went out of the cubicle and when Jorge saw who it was, she wished to be eaten by the earth at that very moment.
"Jorge?" the lady said
"Mama Risa" Jorge uttered embarassed
"Sa lahat ba naman ng makakarinig sa pagsusuka ko, si Mama Risa pa talaga." Jorge thought
"Are you okay? Narinig kong nagsusuka ka kanina." Risa asked worried
"Sa totoo lang po, hindi eh. Medyo masakit po ang sikmura ko." Jorge answered
"Sino ang kasama mo?" Risa asked her
"Si mama po." she answered
"Nasaan si Leni? Bakit hinayaan ka niyang mag-isang lumabas? Bakit hindi ka niya pinasamahan sa staff niya?" Risa asked continuously
"Nasa van po si mama. Hindi na po ako nagpasama dahil sabi ko po kasi I need air. Saka nahihiya po akong malaman nila na may biyahilo ako. Buti nga po nakalabas ako agad ng van eh kasi kung hindi baka doon na po ako nagsuka sa loob. Nakakahiya." Jorge told Risa
"Jorge, telling other people what you really feel is not supposed to be embarassing. Sana man lang sinabihan mo si Leni na masama ang pakiramdam mo eh di sana alam niya kung ano ang nangyayari sa iyo." Risa explained
"Kaming mga nanay, mag-aalala kami sa kung ano ang nangyayari sa mga anak namin at sigurado ako na nag-aalala rin si Leni sa iyo. Bakit kasi bigla-bigla ka nalang magsasabi ng stop the car tapos gusto mo lang pala magsuka." Risa continued
"Sorry po kasi wala akong dalang plastic. Ayoko po na magsuka sa loob ng van." Jorge explained
"Ito. Hot water yan pero hindi ko pa naman naiinom. That should calm your stomach." Risa said and handed Jorge a pink hydroflask tumbler
"Hala nakakahiya po. Huwag na po, mama Risa." Jorge politely declined
"No. Take it para hindi ka na magsuka mamaya. Uminom ka para kumalma yang sikmura mo." Risa insisted
Jorge had no other choice but to accept the hydroflask being handed to her by Risa hence, she wants to vomit again and ruin her mom's appointment.
"Thank you po, Mama Risa. Kailangan ko na pong umalis dahil baka ma late si mama sa appointment niya with Mayor Vico." Jorge thanked Risa and bid her goodbye
She was about to walk away when Risa called her.
"Jorge, wait." Risa said and Jorge stopped walking and turned around to face her
"Po?" she asked
"I'll take you to your mom, no buts. Let's go." Risa said and put her arms around Jorge's shoulders while walking
"Jusko po. Yan na naman ang pa touchy-touchy ni Sen. Risa. Sunday po ngayon, gusto ko po maging straight. Please lang." Jorge thought
"Okay na ba ang pakiramdam mo?" Risa asked her while walking
"Hay nako po. Ang lambing ng boses. Iba talaga basta Ilongga. Ilongga din naman pala ako. Pinanganak na Bicolana pero lumaking Ilongga."
"Medyo kumalma na po ang sikmura ko. Salamat po." Jorge answered
"Good to hear." Risa said
Jorge was about to tell Risa where their van is when Risa said something.
"Ayun pala ang van ninyo. Naku, baka matagal nang naghihintay si Leni." Risa said
"Wow. Alam na alam niyo po ha." Jorge joked
"Oo naman. I know Leni's car." Risa said and chuckled
When Jorge and Risa approached the van, the former opened the door and saw a worried look on Leni's face.
"Anak, okay ka lang?" Leni asked
"Sumakit lang po ang sikmura ko ma pero medyo kumalma na po. Buti nga po at nakasalubong ko sa ladies' room si Mama Risa." Jorge said
"Si Risa?" Leni asked surprised
"Hello Lens!" Risa greeted Leni and peeped on the door
Leni's facial expression changed when she saw Risa. Her face lightened up.
"I saw Jorge sa ladies' room kanina and good thing I have a hot water with me. Binigay ko sa kanya para kumalma ang sikmura niya." Risa continued
"Oh my god! Thank you for helping my daughter out, Ana Theresia!" Leni exclaimed
"Masaya ka ano? Tinawag mo akong Ana Theresia." Risa said and laughed softly
"Anyways, you're welcome. Sige na baka ma late pa kayo sa appointment mo with Mayor Vico." Risa said
"Bye, Ana Theresia! See you later sa PASIGLaban." Leni bid her goodbye to Risa
"See you later, Maria Leonor." Risa said and smiled
"Bye po, Mama Risa. Thank you po ulit." Jorge thanked Risa and hugged her
"You're welcome, anak. See you later." Risa said and kissed Jorge on the forehead when the latter raised her head up to see Risa's face
Jorge climbed to the van and Risa was still standing there waiting for them to leave.
Risa turned her back and went inside the church when the Leni's van left.
Inside the van, Jorge looked at Leni whose facial expression changed when she entered the van.
Leni's face went from happy to being serious or jealous?
"Mabuti pa si Jorge, hinug at hinalikan. Ano ba kasi ang gusto mong ipahiwatig, Ana Theresia Hontiveros Baraquel?" Leni thought to herself
