It has been a week since the sorties in Nueva Ecija. Leni and Risa have been busy campaigning. For the past week, Risa was campaigning for herself, doing market runs and meeting with various groups from different sectors of the society while Leni on the other hand is busy doing grand rallies with her team and her children.
Since Aika and Tricia have their own responsibilities with their jobs, they can only accompany Leni if it is their day off. Jillian is also helping in the campaigns even if she is in New York. Since Jorge is the only one who is not as busy as her elder sisters, she makes sure that she can come with her mom in the rallies.
She has her online class and is about to finish it and they are already travelling to the venue.
"Goodbye miss. Thank you miss." she said and exited google meet
She then closed her macbook and rested her head on the car seat.
Leni patted her head and asked her.
"Kumusta ang online class mo, anak?" Leni asked
"Nakaka-stress po ma. Nakakapagod." she answered
"Kung stressed at pagod ka na, pwede ka namang magpahinga muna sa pagsama sa akin sa mga rallies, anak. You can rest at home or have your vacation. Baka miss mo na ang family and friends mo sa Bacolod." Leni told her
"No ma, I'm fine. Stressed lang ako sa school, ma. Nakakapagod po pala kabisaduhin ang constitution." Jorge told her mom
"Ganyan talaga, anak. Pre-law ang course na kinukuha mo eh. Someday, magiging worth it din yan." Leni told her
"Kapag naging abogado na ako kagaya mo." Jorge said
"Hindi mo kailangan maging abogado para maging worth it lahat ng pagod mo. Maging fulfilled ka lang sa daang tatahakin mo at maging masaya ka lang, yun ang definition ng pagiging worth it ng pagod at sakripisyo mo." Leni said and kissed her daughter's head
"I want you to be proud of me kaya magiging abogado ako to follow in your footsteps. Atty. Jorgina Amalia Robredo. Ang ganda pakinggan." Jorge said
"Kung ano man ang magiging trabaho mo in the future, proud ako sa iyo. Proud ako sa inyong lahat. Sabi nga ni Risa, follow your bliss. Ang akin naman, spread your wings, anak." Leni said and hugged Jorge
"Nakakaiyak naman ma. Alam mo namang total opposite mo ako kasi emo ako." Jorge said and wiped the little tears from her eyes
Leni laughed at what her daughter said.
"I love you bunso." Leni said
"I love you too, ma." Jorge replied and hugged her mom again
A few minutes later, they were called to go to the holding area.
Since Leni had many stopovers before going to the venue, she entered the holding area only with Jorge and her staff.
"Nasaan si Risa?" Leni asked Risa's staff
"Nandoon na po si Sen sa ilalim ng stage, madam." the staff answered
"Tapos na ba siyang mag speech?" Leni asked
"Hindi pa po ma'am kasi hindi po alphabetical or by numbers ang pagtawag nila." the staff replied
"I see. Sige, salamat." Leni thanked the staff
Jorge went to the staff and asked
"Ate, nandito po ba si Anje?"
"Oo. Nandoon sa labas may kausap sa cellphone. Babalik din yun dito mamaya." the staff replied
"Thank you po."
After walking away from Risa's staff, Jorge bumped into Anje.
"Honti!" Jorge greeted her bestfriend
