Today is a very special day not only for President-elect Leni Robredo and her family but also for the whole nation for today, another woman will lead the country.
It is the inauguration of Leni and Kiko. They have decided that they will be having their inauguration together. The inauguration will take place at 10 o'clock in the morning at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall of the Malacañan Palace.
People started to arrive as early as 8:30 in the morning.
"Mga anak, ready na ba kayo?" Leni asked her girls
"Okay na po, ma." Aika replied and they went out of their respective rooms
"Hali na kayo. Pupunta pa tayo sa OVP kasi doon pa tayo aayusan." Leni told her daughters
They all went to the Office of the Vice President Reception House in Quezon City because the stylist and the make-up artists are waiting for them.
While they are being assisted, Jorge asked Leni.
"Ma, ngayong magiging presidente na po kayo, doon na po ba tayo titira sa Malacañan?"
"Kung ako lang ang papipiliin, anak, gusto ko sana na doon pa rin tayo sa condo dahil ayoko na masanay kayo sa marangyang pamumuhay. Yan pa ang isang bagay na hihilingin ko kapag nakaupo na'ko sa pwesto." Leni replied
Jorge nodded as an agreement to her mom's reply.
"Madam, ready ba po kayo? Nandito na po si Cong. Kit kasama ang PSG." her staff told her
"Oo. Ready na kaming lahat. Salamat." Leni said
She and her daughters went out of the condo and they were greeted by Kit.
"Good morning, madam President. Congratulations." Kit greeted her and offered his hand to Leni
Leni gave her hands to Kit and the latter kissed the back of her palm and she stretched her hands to embrace him.
"Thank you so much, Kit." she replied
"Anything for you, Leni. Let's go? Naghihintay na si Risa este ang mga tao sa'yo sa Malacañan." Kit told her
Leni blushed when she heard from Kit that Risa is waiting for her.
"Uyy si mama nagba-blush noong sinabi ni Tito Kit na naghihintay si Mama Ris." Jorge whispered to her mom while her older sisters are getting inside the van
"Jorge, tama na. Pumasok ka na." Leni told Jorge
Jorge entered the van and she was followed by Leni who sat beside her.
When Leni was already settled inside the van, Jorge held her mother's hands and she told her.
"Masaya ako na nahanap ko kayo at na-witness ko ang event na to."
"Mas masaya ako na nahanap mo kami kasi nabuo yung pamilya ang pamilya natin. I love you, aki ko." Leni said and squeezed her daughter's hands
"I love you too, mama." she replied and leaned on her mother's shoulders
Leni brushed her daughter's hair and kissed it.
When they arrived at the Malacañan, they were greeted by a lot of people chanting Leni's name.
They entered the Rizal Ceremonial Hall where the inauguration of Leni and Kiko will take place.
