After their send-off event in Bago City, Negros Occidental, Leni's team went to Lanao del Norte and Zamboanga Del Norte.
They are now in Misamis Occidental and will be having their mini- rally in MisOcc early in the morning.
When she arrived, she immediately looked for Risa and she smiled upon seeing her on the stage.
She walked towards the local officials on stage and she embraced Risa when she was already in front of her.
Someone approached her and gave her a bouquet of flowers.
"Si Risa may flowers din ba?" she asked
"Wala po ma'am eh." the staff replied
"Sana meron din si Risa." Leni whispered to herself
Leni went on to deliver her speech and as usual, the people had their witty placards and Leni read them one by one.
"Kung ang Bisaya ng maganda ay gwapa, crush kita, Sen. Risa." Leni read the placard and everyone cheered
"Binubuko yata ako ng mga tao sa placards nila ah." Leni thought to herself
Leni is looking for other placards to read and then she saw another one which is also intended for Risa.
"Senator Risa" Leni said and then looked at Risa
"I love you." she continued and the crowd cheered even more
Risa is also looking at her with a big smile. Happy! She knows that Risa is smiling because her eyes disappeared.
"Kinikilig kaya siya?" Leni asked herself
"Hindi naman kasi ikaw nagsabi nun Leni. Placard yun, binasa mo lang." she scolded herself
"Lens, are you okay?" Risa asked her when they were at the holding area after the mini-rally
"Ah yes. Why?" Leni answered
"Kanina ka pa kasi hindi mapakali lalo na nung after mo magbasa ng placards." Risa told her
"Ah wala naman. Okay lang ako." Leni replied
"Hindi ka okay, Lens. Pinagpapawisan ka ng malagkit." Risa told her
Leni wiped her sweat and Risa laughed.
"Ikaw Risa tinutukso mo ko ha." Leni said
"Hindi kaya. Pinagpapawisan ka nga ng malagkit." Risa told her
"Senator Risa, I love you." Jorge said mimicking her mom
"Isa ka pa Jorgina Amalia. Pinagtutulungan niyo ko ni Risa." Leni told her daughter
"Hindi naman sa dino-dogshow kita ma pero bakit ka nga ba pinagpapawisan ng malagkit?" Jorge asked
"Ang init kaya dito. Hali ka na sa van para makapagpa-aircon naman." Leni told Jorge and grabbed her hand and sweeped her way through the crowd
When she was about to enter the van, she suddenly realized that Risa was not following them and she stopped.
"Ma? Akyat na po. Mainit diyan." Jorge called her
Leni is still standing outside the van, searching for Risa.
"Ma, sino po ang hinahanap niyo?" Jorge asked her
"Si Risa kasi." Leni said
"Ano naman po yung kay mama Risa?" Jorge asked
"Akala ko kasi nakasunod siya satin eh takot pa naman yun mapagitnaan ng maraming tao." Leni explained
"May kasama naman po siyang staff ma." Jorge said
"Kahit na. Wait lang. Babalikan ko lang siya." Leni said and did not wait for her daughter to speak and she went back inside the gymnasium filled with so many people to look for Risa
"Leni?!" Risa called her with curiosity
"Ris! Thank God nakita kita." Leni said and then embraced Risa
The latter embraced her back.
"Are you okay?" Leni asked
"I am now." Risa answered
"Sorry iniwan kita." Leni said
"No, it's fine. I have my staff with me naman." Risa replied
"Pero bakit kailangan mo pang bumalik?" Risa asked her
"Kasi naalala ko nga na takot ka na mapagitnaan ng maraming tao kaya kita binalikan." Leni replied
"Ano ka ba, okay lang ako. Kanina medyo natakot ako kasi nasa gitna nga nila ako pero ngayon, since nandito ka naman na, okay na'ko. You know that you are one of the few people that I trust the most." Risa said
"Thank you for coming back for me kahit init na init ka na." Risa continued
"Let's go na sa labas." Leni said and took Risa's left hand
They went out of the gymnasium holding each other's hands.
"Ayy may pa-holding hands." Jorge said when she saw her mom and Risa approaching them
Leni was about to let go of Risa's hands but Risa doesn't want to let it go.
"Let it stay this way for now, Lens." Risa whispered to Leni
This time it was Risa who was leading Leni to Jorge's direction.
"Hi Jorge, anak." Risa greeted Jorge
"Nag-alala po sa inyo si mama, mama Ris." Jorge told Risa
"Kaya nga eh. Binalikan pa niya ako sa loob." Risa said
Then she turned to Leni still not letting go of her hands.
"Thank you Lens! See you sa next stop natin." Risa said and then kissed Leni on the cheeks
She then let go of Leni's hands and walked towards her van with her staff.
When Leni went up her van, she was greeted by Jorge's arched eyebrows.
"Oh. Bakit nagsasalubong ang kilay mo?" she asked her daughter
"Ma, umamin ka nga sa'kin. Ano ba talaga kayo ni Mama Risa?" Jorge asked
"Anak, magkaibigan lang kami ni Risa. Nothing more, nothing less." Leni answered
"Eh ano yung kanina?" Jorge asked
"Anong ibig mong sabihin na ano yung kanina?" Leni asked
"Yung super concerned kayo tapos iniwan niyo po ako dito para balikan siya sa loob." Jorge said
"Nag-alala lang ako sa kanya. Yun lang." Leni answered
"Eh yung holding hands?" Jorge asked as if she is scrutinizing her mom
"Takot nga kasi siya na mapagitnaan ng maraming tao kaya hinawakan ko ang kamay niya para masigurado kong next time, hindi na siya mawawala sa paningin ko." Leni answered
"Ma, bading ka no? Bading na bading kay Mama Risa." Jorge said and laughed
"Anong pinagsasabi mo? Alis na nga tayo baka ma late pa tayo sa next appointment." Leni said avoiding to answer her daughter's questions
"Kuya, alis na po tayo." Leni told her driver
Then the van engine started and they went to their next appointment.
"Kung ang bisaya ng maganda ay gwapa, crush kita, Sen. Risa." Jorge said mimicking her mom
"Senator Risa, I love you." Jorge added
"Galing ng pagkakabasa mo kanina ma. Feel na feel at full of emotions." Jorge said and her mom gave her a death stare
