Almost a week after Jillian's graduation, Leni and her children are still in New York to savor the trip that they have planned ahead of time.

Leni was awakened when she received a call at past 6 in the morning. It was from Atty. Macalintal who is her election lawyer.

"Good morning po madam President. I'm sorry for disturbing you." the lawyer said on the other line

"Good evening attorney. Leni replied

"Just a manifestation, madam. Alam ko po na masyado pong maaga para tawagan kayo pero very urgent po itong sasabihin ko." the lawyer said

"Sige attorney. Ano po yun?" Leni asked

"As you may have known na kakatapos lang po ng day 1 ng final canvassing namin sa Batasan." he replied

"Opo." Leni said

"When we were canvassing the votes, we discovered that there is a big discrepancy between the vote counting from the quick count and that of PPCRV's count.

Leni asked her lawyer

"Opo madam. I am sorry that this will affect and shorten your family vacation but you need to be here in time for your proclamation.

I will reschedule our flight po and mamayang gabi po ay aalis agad kami." Leni replied

"Congratulations po in advance, madam president." her lawyer said congratulating her

"Thank you po, attorney." Leni replied and ended the call

When the call ended, Leni took a glass of water and drank it. She then sat beside the window staring blankly at the sky. She did not notice that Jorge is already awake

"Ma, coffee." Jorge said and handed her a cup of coffee

"Thank you, aki ko." she replied

"So, panalo tayo. Omg. Omg. Ate Aiks, Ate Trish, Ate Jill, gising kayo. May good news si mama." she said waking her sisters up

"Ano yun?" Tricia asked sleepily

"Atty. Macalintal wants us to go home, immediately." Leni said

After hearing this, her three other daughters sat up straight.

"What do you mean he wants us to go home immediately, ma?" Aika asked

"He wants me there in time for the proclamation." she replied

Ma, we already have plans diba?" Tricia asked

Jorge said and her sisters looked at her with surprise

"You mean —" Jillian said and paused

"Nanalo tayo?" Tricia added

Leni nodded at her daughters as a sign of agreement.

"Omg ma, congratulations." Aika said and they all embraced Leni

Leni told her daughters

"Kailan po ang alis natin?" Tricia asked

"We should leave within today. Leni told her children

Leni told them

After that, her children packed their things and they went out for breakfast.

"Mga anak, I already talked to Korean Air. They can change the date of our departure but the earliest time is 1:15 PM. We need to go to the airport in an hour." Leni told them

At 12:45 PM, they boarded their flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Incheon Airport in Seoul, Korea. After more than 15 hours, they landed at Seoul and had an hour layover and then boarded their flight to Manila. They arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 10:30 in the evening the next day.

She was greeted by Atty. Macalintal and Risa at the airport.

"Welcome back, madam President. Congratulations." her lawyer said and shook her hands

"Thank you, Attorney." Leni replied

"Congratulations, my President!" Risa said and gave her a warm embrace

"Thank you, Ris. Nagpunta ka pa dito, abala pa tuloy." she said to Risa

"No, it's fine. I insisted to Atty. I want to be one of those people who will be the first to personally congratulate my president." Risa replied

"Napaka-supportive mo talaga, Risa. Salamat talaga." Leni replied

"I am always proud of you, my president. The best man for the job is indeed a woman." Risa told her

Atty. Romy reminded her

"Thank you po, Atty. Romy, punta po kayo doon bukas please." Leni said

"Salamat po sa imbitasyon, madam. Dadalo po ako." Atty. Romy replied

"Siya nga pala, who will be my VP?" she asked

Atty. Romy and Risa looked at each other.

"Si Senator Kiko po." he replied

"Talaga?

Kiko said and walked towards Leni

"Congratulations, madam President." Sen. Kiko congratulated Leni and shooked her hands

"Congratulations, VP Kiko." Leni replied

A victory dinner for you, me and Risa." Kiko said

Kiko added

Leni looked at her daughters first and they smiled at her.

"Sino ang kasama natin?" Leni asked

Romy." he replied

Leni told Kiko

Then they went out of the airport and were greeted by a lot of supporters chanting "LENI-KIKO".
