After the happenings in Zamboanga, the whole team of Leni Robredo went back to Manila.
Leni also asked one of her staff to process the documents of Jorge especially her school records to change her middle name and last name to Gerona Robredo instead of her adopted parents' last name. Her birth certificate is still there so she is now officially Jorgina Amalia Gerona Robredo.
While on the plane, Jorge is seated next to her mom, Leni. They were in economy since Leni doesn't want to spend a lot of money in travels. Why spend a lot in first class if you can also be comfortable in economy and can save a lot of money?
Leni felt the need to go to the bathroom. She looked at Jorge who is seated at the window reading.
"Anak, I'll just go to the bathroom." she said
"Okay ma." Jorge said and continued reading
While Leni was on her way to the bathroom, she came across Risa who just came from the bathroom and about to go back to her seat.
"Hi Lens!" Risa greeted her
"Hi Ris! I never got the chance to thank you the other night for the pizza. Thank you ha." Leni said
"No problem basta ikaw. I also never got the chance to congratulate you for the positive results. You know, I am very happy for you and your family. Finally, you have her back." Risa said and held both of Leni's hands
When Risa touched her hands, Leni felt like she is being electrocuted because electricity seemed to flow in her veins.
"Lens? Are you okay?" Risa asked
"Ahh. Yes, I'm fine. Thank you." Leni said
"Masyado lang akong hindi makapaniwala na kasama na namin siya ulit after almost 20 years." Leni continued
"Hindi pa masyadong nagsi-sink in, ano?" Risa asked
Leni nodded.
"Good luck pala sa presidential debates mamaya. I'll support you virtually if I have no appointment." Risa said still not letting go of her hand
Risa squeezed her hand which made Leni feel butterflies in her stomach.
"Thank you. Alam ko naman na lagi kang nandiyan to support me." Leni said
"Oo nga pala. Are you going to use the bathroom?" Risa asked
"Yes." Leni answered and smiled
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kept you. Go on. I'll go back to my seat." Risa said and let go of her hand
Leni turned to Risa's direction and looked at her back walking away from her. How she wish that Risa would never let go of her hand.
"Leni, bff mo yun. Bakit ba ganyan ka mag-isip? Erase. Erase." she scolded herself
She went inside and did her business.
When Risa was walking back to her seat, she passed by Jorge and saw Leni's blank seat.
Jorge was reading a book.
"Hi Jorge!" Risa greeted her
The young lady seemed to be surprised when the senator greeted her.
"Hello po, Mama Risa." Jorge greeted back and smiled
"Can I sit?" Risa asked and Jorge nodded in agreement
"Iwould like to congratulate you for the positive results. I am so happy for you and Leni. Finally, you are back." Risa said and held Jorge's hands
Jorge looked at Risa's hands holding hers. She felt something unusual, like butterflies in her stomach. Jorge just brushed the idea away.
"Thank you po, Ma Risa. Masaya po ako sa naging resulta nung DNA result at masaya po ako na maging anak ng isang Leni Robredo." Jorge said
"Your mom is a lovable and a great person. Napakabuting ina at napakabuting tao ni Leni." Risa told her
"Napakabuti niyo rin po. Napaka-swerte po ni Anje sa inyo." she told Risa
"Maswerte rin ako kay Anje. I love her as my own. Nabalitaan ko nag-Intramuros daw kayo last Wednesday." Risa told her
"Opo. Ang saya-saya po namin. Masaya rin pong kasama si Anje e." she told Risa
"I am happy that you are getting along with my Angelica. She's been through a lot in her life and I am glad that she's having friends now and she's socializing with other people. Thank you for being so patient with her. Alam kong madaldal siya at tahimik ka kaya grabe siguro ang pasensya mo sa anak ko." Risa told her
"We may have different personalities po, madaldal siya, tahimik ako. Introvert ako, extrovert naman siya but I assure you po, my patience was never tested, except when we first met. I had a really bad impression of her kasi ayoko sa madaldal pero noong gumala po kami sa Intramuros, we discovered that we have a lot of similarities. Hindi lang po kami anak ng pulitiko, anak kami ng dalawa sa napakaganda at nakapatapang na solo moms sa pulitika. Pareho din kaming LenRisa ship —" Jorge told Risa but she cut her last sentence when she realized that she was about to spill their "kabacclaan" to Risa
"What was that, Jorge?" Risa asked
"Yung anak po kami ng maganda at matapang na solo moms?" Jorge answered
"No. The last one." Risa asked
"The LenRisa thing that you are talking about." Risa continued
Jorge stopped and immediately thought for an excuse.
"Pareho po kaming LenRisa supporter. We support mama and your candidacy. We are thinking nga po na maganda ang tandem ninyo ni mama if ever na tumakbo kayong VP. Edi LenRisa sana ang sinisigaw namin." Jorge said
Jorge looked at Risa and she seemed to be convinced with her answer.
"Pero don't get me wrong po, Sen. Kiko is a very good choice for VP. Those are just what ifs. Ang cute niyo po kasi tingnan ni mama. Mag-bff na maganda na, matapang pa." Jorge continued
A few moments later, Leni went back to her seat only to find Risa sitting there, holding Jorge's hands. When Leni saw this, she felt a slight sting in her heart and she doesn't know why.
Risa felt Leni's presence and she turned to see her.
"Hi Lens! I was talking to Jorge and I didn't know nandiyan ka na pala, sorry." Risa said and let go of Jorge's hands and stood up
"No, it's fine. Seems like you're having fun talking with Jorge." Leni told her
"Are you jealous that I am with your daughter?" Risa asked
Leni was silent when she heard Risa's question.
"N-no. That's not what I mean. Ang ibig kong sabihin ay mukhang nagi-enjoy kang kausap ang anak ko and I'm glad that you two are close." Leni explained
"My bad. Don't worry Lens, I know you've missed her a lot. I won't take your daughter away from you." Risa said and walked away
Leni felt embarassed at what just happened and good thing, there are no passengers seated near them so no one knew about the commotion that happened.
Jorge looked at Leni when she sat down.
"Ma?" Jorge called her
"Hmm?" Leni said and looked at Jorge
"Don't worry, I won't steal her from you." she said
"Ha?" Leni was confused at what Jorge just told her
Jorge realized that she said the wrong sentence.
"I mean, don't worry because she won't steal me from you. Ikaw lang ang mama ko." Jorge said and cling on Leni's arms and rested her head on her mom's shoulders
"I love you ma." Jorge told Leni
"I love you too, bunso." Leni said and kissed Jorge on the head
