"Anak, we need to talk." Leni told Jorge when Risa left
Jorge sat down beside Leni.
"Tungkol po saan ma?" Jorge asked
"Tungkol sa nangyari noong birthday natin." Leni replied
"What about it ma?" Jorge asked
"May naalala ka ba noong uminom kayo ni Risa?" Leni asked Jorge
"Yung last memory ko po noong gabing iyon ay noong hinatid kami ni Tito Sonny sa holding area at nagdagdag pa po ako ng dalawang can ng San Mig Light at nung kukuha pa sana ako ng isa, pinigilan na po ako ni Mama Risa. Hanggang doon lang po naalala ko. Paggising ko po, nasa condo na ako at sobrang sakit po ng ulo ko." Jorge replied
"Okay. So wala ka nga talagang naaalala." Leni said
"Ano po ba ang nangyari ma?" Jorge asked
"Anak, tungkol kasi ito sa pinag-usapan namin ni Risa kanina." Leni started to tell Jorge what happened
"Tapos?" Jorge asked
"When I entered the holding area, nakita ko kayo ni Risa. You were about to kiss." Leni said then paused
She didn't know how to continue telling her daughter what she did that night.
"What? Mama Risa and I were about to?" Jorge asked and covered her mouth
"No. Nakakahiya." Jorge continued
"Listen to me first, anak." Leni said and Jorge listened
"She told me you were about to confess something to her and you told her that you love her. After that, you leaned closer to her. Risa told me that she was confused during that time and dahil na rin siguro sa alcohol that's why she reached for your lips too. Risa apologized to me about what happened." Leni said finishing the story
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry for betraying you, ma. Aagawan pa kita ng minamahal." Jorge said apologizing to Leni
"What do you mean aagawan?" Leni asked confused
"Ma, don't deny it. You have feelings for Mama Risa. Nakikita ko at nararamdaman ko. You feel so happy when you're with her. Your eyes glow differently. Hindi ganoon ang kinang ng mata mo kapag kasama mo kami. You look at her as if she's lighting up your world. I witnessed it when you read my placard at Dumaguete, when you said I love you, Sen. Risa. Tinatago mo ang kilig mo when you held her hands during the rally in Cebu. Your heart was so full when Ate Tricia told you that the cake for our birthday was from Mama Ris and you were so happy when Mama Ris sang you the mañanita and when she also sang the song You during the rally at marami pang iba. I witnessed all of them ma and I have never seen you so happy." Jorge told Leni
"Saglit lang. Nasa Dumaguete ka nun at ikaw ang may hawak ng placard? At gising ka noong nag-mañanita si Risa?" Leni asked
"First of all, I'm sorry because I lied at dinamay ko pa si Anje. Yes, we were in Dumaguete and not in Bacolod. Second, yes gising na po ako nung nag-mañanita si Mama Risa." Jorge answered
"Napaka-observant mo but let us not dwell on what I feel towards Risa. We'll talk about your feelings towards her." Leni said
"Okay. Please don't be mad at me." Jorge said and the she continued
"I am actually questioning my sexuality right now kasi I have this super huge crush on Mama Risa since I met her at Paglaum. After po nun hindi na siya mawala sa isip ko. Happy crush lang naman po ang sa akin, I don't know why I told her that I love her. There is only one thing that I am sure of, ma. I love her but not in a romantic way. I love her as a mom, or if the universe permits, as my future stepmom. I want her for you. I want LenRisa to be real. I wished it on my birthday." Jorge told Leni
