Sicheng smiled from the stage as Principal Lee handed him his diploma. He could see his squad there, along with Yuta who was standing there with a proud smile on his face. The older, seeing his lover look at him, sent him a thumbs up and a flying kiss.

Sicheng couldn't believe he had finally graduated. He could pursue his dreams now, and most of all, he hoped there'd be no more problems about his relationship with Yuta.

He went around the stage, shaking hands with his professors who were congratulating him.

"Congratulations!" Ten said, pulling Sicheng into a bear hug when the younger came to them. "Looks like you survived without us," The older joked.

The younger rolled his eyes, hitting Ten slightly on the shoulders. "It was quite peaceful without you actually."

He chuckled when he saw Ten shooting him an offended look while the others congratulated him; pulling him into big hugs.

The younger slowly pushed through the crowd, making his way to Yuta.

The first thing that the older did was to place a long-lasting kiss on the younger's lips; making the other look around and blush profusely.

"Stop, we're in public," The younger mumbled, moving his face away.

"You didn't mind when we made out that day," Yuta wiggled his eyebrows, his hands snaking around the younger's waist and pulling him closer.

"But...." The older paused. "I'm really proud of you, Petal. Congratulations," He said, kissing the younger again.

From afar, Ten fanboyed over the couple, shaking the others and squealing. "Oh my God, they're so cute!" He waved his hands in the air, jumping in his spot. "I'm busting all my uwu's!"

The couple strolled beside the lake hand-in-hand. It was already night and they'd had a small celebration at a restaurant between them.

Yuta kept touching his pocket, just to make sure that the little velvet box was there. He licked his dry lips, calming his nerves down. It was already clear that he was madly in love with the younger. But did that make him less nervous about the proposal? Nope.

He kept stealing glances at Sicheng who was busy admiring the night view of the city. His heart beat so fast, that he felt like it would leap out of his chest any moment.

It's now or never.

Yuta cleared his throat, causing the younger to shift his attention to him. "I..." The older started, taking in a deep breath, "I have something to say."

The older took out the little velvet box from his pocket, and got on one knee. The younger's eyes widened as he looked at the box.

Yuta opened the box, presenting that beautiful diamond butterfly ring he had bought for the younger long ago, the butterfly glittering under the moonlight. Tears welled in the younger's eyes as he covered his mouth with his hand.

"I'm not good at speeches, but I'm so happy that I offered to tutor you. Otherwise, I would've never met such a gem of a person: you." Yuta smiled at the now crying younger. "My Petal, my beautiful, lovely Petal, will you do me the honour of marrying me and making me the luckiest person ever?"

Sicheng nodded vigorously, tears of happiness pouring down his cheeks as he whispered 'yes' over and over again. The older smiled at him, slipping the ring onto the delicate finger of the younger, and then picking him up and twirling him around as they both laughed.

"You always make me the happiest, Petal. I love you," Yuta said, kissing the younger with love.

The younger returned the kiss with the same love and passion, looping his arms around the older's neck. They both separated, huge smiles on their faces as they stayed there, forehead against each other's.

"I'm so happy I agreed with you; that's the only decision I don't regret. I love you too, Yuta." The younger whispered against the older's lips, pulling him into another loving kiss.
