Todoroki x Y/N: Femme Reader

21: Sick with Todoroki Part 1

The morning after the dance I felt so groggy. My head feels like it's full of cotton. My throat feels like sandpaper and my nose is running and stuffy at the same time. I think I have a fever too. Ugh. How could I have gotten sick again? I decide to text Shoto to let him know how I'm feeling.

Y/N: Hey Shoto. I woke up feeling sick this morning. Could you come over and take care of me?

The response was not something I was expecting.

Peppermint: Hey babe. I'm sorry you woke up feeling sick this morning. If I'm being honest I'm not feeling well either. My throat is sore, my nose is running and stuffed up, my head is pounding, and I've got chills.

Oh no. Todoroki is sick too.

Y/N: Oh, baby. I'm sorry. I had no idea that you weren't feeling well either. Maybe you could come over and we can be sick together. We can take care of each other until we feel better.
Peppermint: Do you really think that that's a good idea?
Y/N: Well, it's better than being sick and alone right? Besides, if we're together, it'd make this a little more bearable.
Peppermint: You do make a good point Snowflake. Okay. I'll be there soon.
Y/N: Okay. My door's unlocked so just let yourself in. Then come join me in bed.
Peppermint: Okay. Be there soon. I love you. Try to get some rest until I get there.
Y/N: I will. I love you too.

Ugh. I just feel like shit. But I'm gonna try to get some rest until Todoroki gets here. I'm so tired. So, I just went back to sleep. Then I felt another body crawl into bed with me. I knew it was Todoroki but I'm just so tired that I don't even wake up. 

I woke up what felt like ten minutes later but when I looked at my phone I noticed that two hours have gone by. Wow. I must've been exhausted. As long as I'm up I should probably go get some meds for Todoroki and me so that we can feel better. Ugh. No matter how disgusting it is. But, it needs to be taken to help us get better soon. When I brought the medicine into my room I saw a text from Uraraka.

OU: Hey. Noticed you and Todoroki aren't in class. What's going on with you two?
Y/N: Oh. Sorry. He and I both woke up sick this morning. So the two of us are just resting in my dorm until we get better. I'm actually about to take mine and his temperature so we know what we're dealing with. I'm sorry. I should've texted you to let you know what was going on.
OU: Don't worry about it (Y/N). You two just get better soon. I'll bring by any work you miss at the end of the day. Just get some rest and get better quickly.
Y/N: We will. Thanks, Uraraka.
OU: No problem.

After Uraraka and I texted I went back to the bathroom to grab my thermometer and went back to the bed. I tried to wake Todoroki up by gently shaking him. But that didn't work. So, I tried something that I knew would work. I tickled his belly. I know he's sick but I have to get his temperature checked out.

He jolted up. "Ugh. Babe. Why did you do that?"

"Because you weren't waking up to me shaking you. Plus, I knew it would wake you up."

"Ugh. Why did you wake me up anyway?"

"I need to take your temperature and maybe you could take mine?"

"Okay. Just do it. I just want to go back to sleep."

"I know you do. First, we need to take your temperature and get some meds in you."

"Okay. Do it."

"Alright. Lift your tongue. Good. And close. Good boy. Don't you glare at me. Just sit there and relax while the thermometer takes your temp. *Cough x2*" He put his hand on mine to try and help me feel better. "Ugh. I know. Thanks, babe." Then the thermometer beeped. "Alright, *cough* let's see what we're dealing with here. Oh, 101 (38.3). That's definitely a fever. But it doesn't worry me enough to take you to the hospital."
