10: Soba Date

The two of us walk hand-in-hand into town. He leads the way to the little soba shop. I order some nice warm soba for myself and Shoto orders some cold soba. The employee seems kind of surprised at Todoroki for ordering it cold but I'm not surprised. I find it cute.

The two of us go to sit down while the soba is being made.

"This is a nice shop." I notice all the photos of famous heroes in the shop.

"Yeah. This is one of my favorite places in town. Sometimes I like to come here and just think. Get away from everything. It's relaxing. This is the first time I've ever been here with someone else. Especially someone I care so much about."

"Wow. I had no idea that this place meant so much to you."

"Yeah. I guess it does."

The soba arrives.

We both thank the waitress and start eating our food.

We talk for what feels like hours. And then an alarm goes off on my phone.

"Oh my God. There are only 15 minutes left for lunch. We should probably start heading back to school Todoroki. We don't want to be late for training with All Might."

"You're right Snowflake. Let's get going."

He pays for the food and the two of us head back to UA.

"You know, I really had a good time with you, babe. We should go on another date sometime soon." I blush a little bit.

"That sounds amazing, Snowflake. How about you let me know what you'd like to do next time and we'll figure out a plan?"

"Perfect."

As the two of us walk into class hand-in-hand Bakuguo stands up and starts yelling. "HEY AIRHEAD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH ICYHOT?!"

"Don't listen to him, baby. He's just an asshole looking for attention."

But I'm so filled with rage that I don't hear a word Todoroki says to me. I run over to Bakuguo and slap him hard across his face.

"FOR YOUR INFORMATION KATSUKI, TODOROKI HAPPENS TO BE MY BOYFRIEND! AND HE JUST HAPPENS TO BE MORE OF A MAN THAN YOU'LL EVER BE! HE'S SWEET, KIND, AND CARING! YOU?! YOU'RE JUST AN ASSHOLE WHO GOES LOOKING FOR TROUBLE NO MATTER THE DANGER! YOU'RE A JERK TO EVERYONE IN THIS CLASS! IF YOU EVER BECOME A PRO YOU'LL BE A DISGRACE TO THE WORD HERO! YOU'RE ALREADY DISGRACING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HERO KATSUKI!"

I feel a pair of hands pulling me back and keeping me from slapping him again. "Baby. Baby. Easy. It's okay. He's just an ass. It's alright. Snowflake. Easy. Deep breaths. Deep breaths." I'm pulled into my boyfriend's chest as he strokes my hair. "That's it, baby. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. That's it." He keeps stroking my hair with one hand and holding me with the other. I keep taking some deep breaths and start to calm down. He keeps whispering calming things to me to help me.

I pull away taking a shuddering breath. "I'm so sorry babe. I just got so angry. He disrespected you, he disrespected me, and he's constantly disrespecting the hero code and what it means to be a hero. I just got so mad."

"I know. I know. He's just looking for a fight. He got a rise out of you. That's exactly what he wanted out of you. Look at that smug look on his face. He got what he wanted."

"*sigh* You're right Shoto. I shouldn't have reacted like that. I should've just ignored him. It just gets really hard sometimes."

"I know (Y/N). I know. Come on. Let's just go sit down."

I nod and that's exactly what we do. Present Mic walks in, does roll, and begins the class.

After class Deku walks up to me.
