7: You're Sick

A few days after Shoto recovered, I start feeling off myself. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with me. I cough a little bit and I feel a bit tired but other than that I feel fine. I keep feeling like I'm gonna fall asleep in class. No matter who the teacher is or what the subject. I just feel exhausted.

I feel someone tapping my shoulder one day during Aizawa's class after he's fallen asleep. 

I lift my head to see Shoto looking at me with concern.

"What?"

"Are you okay? You've been looking kind of off lately. You've been coughing a lot and falling asleep in class. Are you okay?"

I yawn. "Yeah. I'm okay. I'm just really tired lately."

"I don't know. You sound congested. Honestly, you kinda sound like I did when I was sick. Are you sure you're okay? Are you sure you're not coming down with something?"

I sneeze. "Yeah. I'm fine Shoto. *cough* I promise I'm fine." I sniffle.

He looks concerned but lets the matter drop and I see him looking something up on his phone. Then he scooches closer to me. "Come here. Let me feel your forehead."

"Todo. I told you. I'm okay. Nothing's wrong with me."

He doesn't listen to me and puts his hand on my forehead.

"Yeah. Your forehead is really warm. You definitely have a fever. You need to go back to your dorm and rest (Y/N)."

"Maybe I'm a little sick, but it's nothing to worry about Todoroki."

"If you have a fever (Y/N), you definitely need to go back to your dorm and get some rest." Midoriya interjects.

"See. Midoriya doesn't agree with you this time. He agrees with me. I'll take you to your dorm and get you to bed."

"You really don't have to do that Todoroki."

"You're right. I don't. But I want to. We're best friends. You took care of me, now I'm gonna take care of you."

I stand up to protest but start feeling like I'm swaying on my feet. I feel my knees buckle and everything goes dark. I hear someone saying something but I can't make it out.

When I open my eyes, I realize that I'm in my bed. How did I get here?  I wonder to myself.

"Oh. Good. You're awake. I was worried about you."

"What... What happened?"

"You stood up in class and you fainted. You're lucky that I was there to catch you. You could've hit your head."

"Right. Thank you. Thank you for catching me. But, how did you know where my dorm is?"

"Uraraka showed me the way."

"Oh. She did?"

"Yes."

"Ugh."

"Woah, woah, woah. Don't try to sit up. You have a bad fever. I know that from feeling your forehead. Do you have a thermometer here somewhere? I need to know your exact temperature so I know how concerned I should be."

"Yeah. It's in the bathroom. Medicine cabinet above the sink."

He comes back with my thermometer.

"You know how this works."

I groan. "I don't wanna."

"You're sick and we need to know exactly what your temp. is. I need to know whether or not you need to go to the hospital."
