A few days passed since we chose our hero names. Uraraka and I were having a girls' day out to hang out and go shopping. She pushed me in my wheelchair everywhere we went.

Eventually, we stopped for food and started eating. That's when I noticed a serious look on her face.

"Uraraka, you've hardly touched your food. And you look like there's something you want to tell me. What's going on?"

"You know how you and Todoroki have been going out?"

"Yeah? What about that?"

"Well, it's not about that per se, it's more about how I feel about another person in our class."

"Oh. Why don't you tell me about them? Maybe I can help." I already know that she's talking about Deku. I've seen the way she looks at him. She's obviously crushing on him.

"Well, he kinda mutters to himself a lot. But he's super friendly. He always tries his best to be a good person. Even if people aren't necessarily nice to him. Take Bakugou for example. No matter how mean Bakugou is to him, he doesn't let Bakugou get to him. He comes off as kinda timid, but he's really a sweet guy. He knows so much about heroes and their quirks. He cares so much about other people. I can tell that he just wants people to feel safe around him. That's the kind of hero I imagine him being one day. I imagine him to be a lot like All Might. Always caring about other people."

"Ah. I see who this is about."

"You do?"

"Yeah. Actually, I knew the whole time who you were talking about. But I wanted you to tell me first. I've seen the way you look at him. I can tell that you're crushing on him. You'll never know how he feels about you if you don't tell him how you feel. Besides, if he feels the same way, the four of us could go on a double date if we wanted to."

"You really think I should tell him?"

"Yeah. Remember what you told me when I was considering telling Todoroki how I felt about him? You told me to trust myself and to trust him. Everything worked out between me and him. I'm not promising that things will work out between you and your crush. I can't guarantee anything like that. But I can promise that you'll never know unless you try. You're an amazing person Ochaco. And if he doesn't feel the same way about you, it's his loss. But at least you'll know where you stand. I can't make you tell him how you feel, but I can encourage you to do so."

"You're right (Y/L/N). I'll never know unless I try. I have to tell him how I feel. But how should I do it?"

"You want my advice?"

"Yeah."

"Tell him somewhere private. That way, in case things go wrong, no one else will be able to see and none will be the wiser. Be honest with him. Luckily for me, when I told Todoroki how I felt about him, he actually confessed first so it just happened to work out for me. But I promise you, no matter what he says, it won't change who you are as a person."

"You really think I should tell him huh?"

"It doesn't matter what I think. I say go for it. Follow your heart, but lead with your head. I want you to be smart about it okay?"

"Okay. Wow. You're really a great friend (Y/L/N)."

"That's what I'm here for Uraraka. To help support you. That's what friends do for each other."

"You're right." She laughs and we go back to eating our food.

Then I notice that the sun is going to start setting in about fifteen minutes. "Uraraka, we should probably be heading back to school. The sun's gonna be setting soon."
