Todoroki x Y/N: Femme Reader

30: The Proposal Part 1

It's been 10 years since (y/n) and Todorki met and started dating. Todoroki is one of the top heroes. Just behind Midoriya and Bakugo. You also have your hero license but you don't use your quirk to help people as often so you didn't become one of the top heroes. But you're okay with that. You're just happy that Todoroki is living his dream of being a hero. You're so proud of him and what he's been able to accomplish in the last 10 years. Then, one day Todoroki surprises you with something amazing.

Todoroki POV:

I yawn and stretch as I wake up beside my Snowflake. These last 10 years have been crazy and amazing. Bakugo and Midoriya got married last year and they're the top two heroes. I'm just behind them at number three.  And (y/n) and I moved in together about 5 years ago. I look over at (y/n). She's so beautiful. She looks so peaceful while she's sleeping. I gently move some stray hair out of her face. I love her so much. This is why I decided to surprise her today. So I went down to the kitchen and started making breakfast. I want everything to be absolutely perfect for her today. Today is all about her. I'm going to pamper her and make her feel special. At the end of the day, I'm going to do something that I've been wanting to do for a couple of years. I'm going to propose to her. I really hope she accepts. I love her with my whole being.

I was almost done making breakfast when I hear her footsteps coming down the stairs. She still sounds so drowsy. Hopefully, this will perk her up. I made all her favorites.

"Good morning, sweetheart." I greeted her.

"Morning, Sho. *yawn*"

"Still kinda sleepy?"

"Just a bit."

"Well, it's a good thing that I made breakfast, isn't it? Go ahead and sit down. I'll bring it out to you. I made your favorites."

"Shoto, that's so sweet. You didn't have to do that."

"I wanted to. You don't give me the chance to spoil you that often. So yesterday I called my agency and told them that I'd be taking today off. I needed a chance to just spend a day with you without you worrying about whether or not I'll come home. Today is all about you sweetheart. Let me pamper you."

"Aww, Peppermint. You are so sweet. Thank you."

"It's the least I can do for you Snowflake. You've been so supportive of me being one of the top heroes. I want to show you how much I love you, baby."

Her cheeks turned rose red and she was speechless. I went back into the kitchen and brought out all her favorite breakfast items. 

"Oh. Todoroki. You made all this for me? You are so sweet. I love you so much Peppermint."

"I love you too Snowflake. But this isn't all I have in store for you darling."

"Shoto Todoroki, what are you up to?"

"Just wait and see love. Wait and see. For now, eat up. You don't want your food getting cold."

"Okay, okay." She giggled. Man, I love that giggle. It's so adorable.

"After you're done eating, go get something on for the warm weather. I have another surprise in store for you."

"Todoroki, can't you give me a hint about the surprise?" She pleaded.

"Sorry, baby. No. You'll just have to wait and see."

"Ugh. Fine. But seriously. Thank you for making breakfast this morning. You are too sweet."

"Anything for you darling."

We quickly finished eating and got dressed for the day. (y/n) looks absolutely stunning in her light blue sundress. Her hair is done up in a dutch braid.

"Wow. Snowflake. You look beautiful."

"Thanks, sweetheart."

"Come on. Go get your sandals on."

"Why?"

"Just trust me, baby. You'll love this."

"Okay."

I can't wait to take her to the little soba shop we went to on our first date. I'm sure she'll be so happy.

"Okay. They're on, babe. Are you gonna get yours on or what?" She joked.

"Okay. Just give me two seconds." I quickly put my sandals on and took her hand in mine. "Are you ready to get to our first destination darling?"

"As I'll ever be I suppose."

"That's my girl."

We've been walking for about 10 minutes when she started asking questions again.

"Baby, can you please give me a hint about where exactly you're taking me?"

"Sorry, love. Besides, we're almost there. I promise."

"Really?"

"Really. Promise."

We walk for about 5 more minutes before we walk up to the soba shop.

"Alright Snowflake. We're here. Do you recognize it? I'll be sad if you don't."

"Of course, I recognize it, Shoto. It's the soba shop we went to on our first date."

"Ding, ding, ding. We've got a winner. That's exactly right, sweetheart. I called ahead and made sure they had the same soba we got on our first date."

"Babe... You are so sweet."

"Shall we?"

She giggles again as I hold out my arm for her and we walk into the soba shop.

After about an hour we're done eating and we're up and walking again. This time we're heading back to the house so we can get the car. The next destination is a bit further away.

"Shoto. Where are we going that we need the car for?"

"Trust me, baby. You're going to love this. Oh. And before we go, I need you to put on this blindfold. I want this to be a complete and total surprise for you."

"Are you serious right now?" She pouts.

"No. I'm joking (y/n). You don't actually need to wear this. I'm not that kinky."

She laughs her adorable little laugh as I pull out of the driveway. 

Soon enough we're in front of a nail salon.

"Todoroki, what are we doing here?"

"Remember how I said I wanted to spoil and pamper you today?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I booked you an appointment to get a manicure and a pedicure."

"TODOROKI! YOU ARE SO SWEET THANK YOU SO MUCH!" She screamed.

"Agh. Babe. Little too loud there. But you're welcome. I'll be back in about an hour to an hour and a half to pick you up. We still have one more destination today."

"You sure are full of surprises today aren't you?"

"I sure am. I'll be back soon to pick you up. Have fun and enjoy yourself."

"I will baby." We quickly kissed. "Thank you again Todoroki. This is seriously so sweet. I love you."

"I love you too, Snowflake."
