Callie stops in for a visit

Lena's: POV
I can't believe someone had the nerve to show up at our home so early in the morning. And ruined our beautiful moment, l'm was pissed as hell. It's bad enough we rarely time alone. Don't get me wrong l love our children with every beat of my heart, after having myself a shower
to settle my nerves. I know Stef was feeling the same way
After getting dressed I went into the kitchen to get started on breakfast, Stef wasn't any where to be found. Thinking where could she be at this hour. I get the ingredients out to make cinnamon french toast, and the turkey bacon from the refrigerator. And set everything up on the counter, while I looking for the frying pans in the cabinets
I rise them in the sink. And lay them on the stove
I cracked a few eggs and put in the bowl, throwing the shells out in the trash. I'm surprised Sofia hasn't come out from her hiding place, Stef must had taken her for her morning walk. I add in some ground cinnamon nutmeg and a little sugar along with some 2% milk. I whisk the contents together in the bowl, after I was done
I dipped the bread in the bowl. I turned on the stove on
So the butter could melt down, one it started sizzling
I laid four pieces of bread in the pan. Then l put the bacon
On, l put everything back in the fridge and took the carton of strawberries out and washed them off. I cut them in small slices, l flip over the french toast and bacon
I cleaned up the mess l made. And rise off the bowl
While I got the water boiling for my tea in kettle
I take out some plates, forks out the cabinet and put them down on the table. Stef comes through the door with Sofia running ahead of her, hey babe what are you up to
I thought you would have gone back to sleep. She said
No after somebody rudely interrupted our morning
I was to heated to lay back down again. Did you find out who was at the door, at 5:30 in the morning, Lena asks
By the time l went to answer the door. The bell stopped ringing, but guess who I received a call from Stef responds. I take the french toast off and put it on the plate
And turned the burner off, l turn the bacon over
Apparently Callie's in town she called me on the phone and that was her at the door. I guess she got tired waiting and left, Stef stated. Oh that's nice did you know she was coming for a visit, Lena asked Stef. No l'm just as surprise as you are. She didn't say much over the phone when l ask
Her, Callie was pretty vague in her answers when l question her Stef replies. Lena begins scrubbing the frying pans, l know your mad our morning got messed but l promise I'll make it up to you. Stef says, l don't know how
Because Francesca and Ariana will be home in a couple of hours, plus your sister coming over. So we won't anytime for us, Lena explains. Shit l hate this Callie picked the wrong time to come out for a visit Stef responded
Why don't you have a seat so we can eat breakfast at least

You know Callie never shows up on time. She always likes to make a grand entrance, Stef States as she takes a bite of her french toast. Lena cuts up her food, and pours syrup
Over cinnamon french toast, before Lena digs into her plate. The door rings, this time Lena gets up to answer the door. Lena looks at the surveillance camera and sees Callie
She takes a deep breath and opens the door, and the young brunette turns around. Callie it's so good to see you
Lena hugs the girl, hi sister in law how's it going
Callie inquiries. Come on in Lena opens up the door wide
For Callie enter inside, she pulls her tall suitcase along
Callie sets her luggage by the door and takes her backpack
Off and follows Lena in the kitchen. Stephanie aren't you gonna at least greet your baby sister, Callie replied
Stef takes Callie in and notice a few changes in Callie's appearance. Like the nose ring and bunch holes in her ear
She gives her hugs and takes her seat, can I offer you something to eat or drink. Lena asks Callie, no l'm good
I had something to eat at the breakfast club downtown
With a few friends, Callie said. So what brings in these neck of the woods. Stef responds, l figured since school was on spring break for a month. I'll out for a visit
Mom sends her regards, l visited San Diego before coming here. Where are my nieces at l haven't seen them in ages
Callie States, their be here later on. Stef tells her sister
So Cal how's college life going for you. Lena says
It's challenging for the most part, other than it's good
