After the girls left with mom for the day. I was home alone upstairs in my bedroom reading my bride magazine

She told me don't bother cooking dinner, my guess she stopped at salad works. I wasn't in the mood to be slaving over the stove, usually on weekends we make sandwiches

I'm starting to believe mom has early stages of dementia, her doctor says it can start at age sixty to seventh. Mom's getting up there, since I have no way of contacting Callie to let her know what's been going on
I'm gonna have to make the decision. There's a nice place in Los Angeles called piney Grove retirement home, mom will have all the comforts of home, she still has plenty of money from left over from my father's life insurance policy. There's a waiting list, mom won't be able to get in
Until June of next year. For the time being her best friend has moved in temporary to help mom out, l spoke with the director and she's supposed to be mailing me out
All the appropriate forms and information, since l'm the executive over her estate. Plus she put me down as her next of kin, so l'm basically in charge of making medical decisions on mom's behalf. I knew something else was going on with her, l was just hoping it wasn't true
