Stef's: POV
Our poor baby girl is sick. I just got through with taking her temperature, it's was a hundred & one
I went to run Ariana a warm bath. She becomes clingy when she gets ill, l made her some chicken noodle soup with stars. She's been in practically all day watching Christmas movies, the flu is going around l made sure to disinfect the house. Lena has stocked up on all the children's medication in case one of our girls get sick
Hopefully none of us catches a cold, this is the wrost time of year people catching anything from strep throat
Ear affection, stomach virus's. Lena texted me and said her and Frankie were gonna stop by the children's hospital to drop off some treats for the kids and gifts we picked out recently, l turned off the water and went to get Ariana. I lifted her up in my arms and carried her down to the bathroom, come on baby l know that you aren't feeling well. I promise I'll give you a quick bath
I helped Ariana out of her clothes, she got into the tub
Of course Sofia followed us in the bathroom. And stretches out on the tile floor, l take the wash cloth and begin washing Ariana's back. I put in some chamomile bubble bath, this usually calms Ariana down a bit
She stands up so I could wash her whole body, then she sits back down again. Too more times and I will take you out, okay precious. Stef says to her daughter, momma my throats all scratchy Ariana tells me. I know you feel yucky
I'm almost done washing you up, Stef says.
She washes Ariana one more time and rises off of Ariana
And Stef unclogs the drain to let the water out. She wraps Ariana up in her pink towel and carries her to the room
Stef Ariana gets Ariana dried off. And lotion her down with the lavender body lotion, then Stef gets Ariana in her favorite pj's and tucks into bed. Stef goes to hers and Lena's bedroom to get the cough syrup, she heads to Ariana's bedroom and fines Sofia at the end of Ariana's bed laying down. Stef pours the medicine in the little cup
Ariana sits up and drinks it, Ariana passes Stef back the cup. She gave Ariana some water to drink, Ariana lies back down again. Stef sits with Ariana until she falls asleep, once she finally sleeping l kissed her on the head
It seems like her fever has slowly went down some
I leave out her room, and head back to the bedroom to lock up the meds in the cabinet. I washed my hands
