After getting a few extra hours of sleep I woke up
Showered and got dressed made a huge Sunday morning breakfast like l do every morning. I made enough for everyone who wanted to eat, Francesca and Ariana were already downstairs. Lord give me the strength to deal with my mother in law today, it didn't take me long to whipped up a little bit of everything. I went down in the basement to let them know it was time to eat, they follow me up the stairs. I greet Sharon good morning spoke back
The girls took their seats at the table, mommy where's Sofia at. Ariana asks me, baby she went with mom on a run, she'll be back soon. Frankie help your sister with her plate please Lena said, ok mommy Francesca replied
Sharon have some. There's a fresh pot of coffee and the orange juice is in the fridge, Lena States politely
Sharon gets mug and pours herself some coffee
She adds in the cream and sugar. Lena and the girls are eating their meal, she doesn't eat meat. Sharon is observing Lena and the girls, Sharon takes a seat all the way at the other end of the table. She fixes her self a plate
Lena l don't think your a bad person, but Stefanie shouldn't have left her life in San Francisco and moved in with you so quickly she gave up a lot for you
Are these even her children because they look nothing like her. Sharon makes a negative remark, Lena remember what Stef told her a few hours ago. Sharon l'm not trying to get into this debate with you, have a little respect in front of our children here. Stef might not giving birth to them but she is their other mother, if you can't keep your negative remarks to yourself. I'm not going to bend over backwards and roll out the red carpet so you can turn around and talk about me behind my back, l won't allow you to come into our home Lena says to Sharon
Lena goes back eating her meal. Sharon doesn't say another word, Sharon decides to pull this shit when Stef's not here. Lena said to herself, Stef needs to hurry back before she finds Sharon and her bags on the porch
Lena was trying to be hospitable and be a gracious host
But no Sharon wants the last word. Lena was always taught to respect her elders, Lena's not going to let Sharon get under her skin. Any longer Lena will have the final say
Lena hears someone coming through the door, baby it's that you. Lena calls out, yeah beautiful it's me Stef replied
Babe come in here and have something to eat. You gotta be hungry from your run, Lena replies. I'm gonna go up
and take a shower cause l am super sweaty give me twenty minutes. Stef Stated, alright sweetie we'll be waiting for your return, mommy what are we doing today
Frankie asks me. What do we usually do on Sundays
Francesca, Lena questions her daughter. Have family time
Frankie States. Plus your Nana's here visiting from San Diego and she hasn't seen you and Ariana in a while
Lena explains, mommy no disrespect or anything ever since Nana's been in our home she's been extremely rude to you and l don't like it. Francesca doesn't hold her tongue, Stef comes back downstairs and feels the tension in the air. She knows Sharon is back at it again
Stef thinks to her self why can't her mother act like a civilized human being and leave her wife to be alone
Stef sees Lena made a nice spread to eat, and Stef makes her plate with a little bit of everything. Sofia goes in the kitchen and eats her dog food over in the corner
Lena already put Sofia's favorite meal chicken and rice
Every now and then Lena gives Sofia a special treat
