Scott was gone. I started to look frantically for Stiles and Allison. I ran into the house and pushed through people. Allison was talking to Lydia and Stiles was watching her from the background.
I pulled Stiles aside and he immediately snapped out of his daze.
"Scott's gone," I told him. "He followed a man. He was headed towards the preserve."
"What?" Stiles yelled. Too loud, apparently.
"Hey, where's Scott?" Allison asked as her and Lydia walked over to us.
"He had to leave. Explosive diarrhea and such," I said quickly.
"Okay..." Lydia looked at Stiles and I.
"Was he alright?" Allison asked.
"He said he was really sorry. It was probably the lunch he had today. School lunch can really hurt the bowels," I said convincingly.
"Yeah, Scott really likes you. He said he really wanted to..." Stiles started to say before I clapped by hand over his mouth.
"Take you out on a cute date without shitting out his brains," I finished for him.
"I'm going to look for Jackson," Lydia eyed Stiles and I as she walked away with Allison.
"You let him run?" Stiles asked.
"Well what was I supposed to do? Let a homocial looking teenager wolf man stay here? He also saw someone watching us from the roof. I didn't know what to do. He looked psychotic Stiles," I said.
"Someone was watching you? Do you think it's like the alpha wolf or something?" Stiles questioned.
"All I could sense was Scott's pain and I felt panic too," I shrugged. "Should I go after him?"
"You find Scott, I'll find Allison. You have more supernatural abilities than I do."
"Stay safe Stiles," I said as I ran into the dark street and towards the forest.
My first instinct was to call Scott but why would a werewolf stop a hunt to answer a phone call. I wanted to call on my powers to try and find Scott. My head hurt for a second before everything in the dark lit up like it was a sunny day. I could see through the darkness.
It was a weird feeling going from dark to light but I didn't mind it. Everything had a tinge of blue to it though. It must be my eyes or something.
I felt my running speed getting faster. It was certainly a rush.
"Scott?" I called out as I entered the woods.
I smelled the air and there was a reeking smell of blood floating around the area. I stopped running and looked around.
Where would a werewolf go at night? Scott said he got bitten by a werewolf so maybe I should howl or something. I was currently standing in the woods alone and very clueless as to what I should do.
Suddenly, I sensed something coming at me. I turned around just in time to see a man a but older than me running towards me.
"You shouldn't be here," He said as he slowly approached me.
"I'll do whatever the hell I want," I said.
He looked me in my eyes for the first time and I could see he was taken aback.
"Your eyes. They're golden," He whispered in disbelief.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked as I backed away from him.
He looked left then right before speaking. "Derek. Derek Hale."
