It was getting late in the day and my mother and I were sitting at home.

I had promised Isaac that I would come and see him play.

Stiles had tried calling and texting me to explain what had happened but I turned my phone off. Isaac decided to come over and we were now watching The Breakfast Club in my room.

When we came home from seeing Derek, I had stress baked four dozen sugar cookies in the shapes of dinosaurs.

"Okay but why is John so rowdy and obnoxious?" Isaac asked me as he ate another cookie.

"He can't be himself at home because of the abuse he receives so he lashes out at school to gain the attention and validation from his friends. But by doing this, he gets into more trouble," I explained as I happily bit the head off of a T-rex.

"Oh," He paused. "So then why does Andrew go against him? Doesn't he know who John is?"

"Well, John wants to uphold a rebellious reputation so he doesn't exactly go around saying that he's tough because he's abused. Besides, they're from two totally different sides of high school popularity."

"And why is this your favorite movie again?" Isaac questioned.

"Because at the end of the day, they're all teenagers who can't be themselves because of the standards others expect them to live up to," I replied and scooted closer to Isaac, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Which character are you then?" He asked me.

"Well in my old school, I was Claire. I had a decent amount of friends that always expected me to be something I'm not. Now I'm Alice. The school weirdo."

"Does that make me the new Claire then? Because I'm your new best friend?" Isaac laughed.

"You're Brian. You are so very smart and people expect a lot from you. You are the best and most behaved with some secrets that you are reluctant to share," I began. "I think all of my friends could be in the breakfast club. Lydia and Allison are Claire. Jackson could either be Andrew or John. Stiles could be Brian but so could you. I'm Alice obviously. Scott, he's the janitor."

I was still mad at Scott and Stiles. Mostly Scott since he didn't even bother trying to explain himself.

"I still say I'm Claire. I got the hair and personality. And I'm just so beautiful," Isaac said in a high pitched voice.

We finished the movie and Isaac was crying into his dino cookie.

"Your eyes are going to be all red for the game," I said as I wiped his tears away.

"We should get going. Coach wanted us to be there an hour before the game started in order to hype us up or something," He said.

We popped off the bed in sync and went downstairs. My mom was typing viciously at her laptop.

"Hey mom, we're gonna get going to the school for the lacrosse game," I told her.

"Take the car," She said, tossing me the keys.

"I don't have a license yet," I replied.

"Well it's getting dark out and something bad is coming. I know you can drive so take the car," My mom handed the keys to me and dazedly sat back down and continued typing.

I grabbed my wallet, a sweatshirt and Isaac's hand and we went out to the car.

I knew how to drive obviously but it was night time.

I started the car cautiously and drove like five miles below the speed limit the whole time.

The parking lot was already crowded when we got there. The other team's bus was there and I saw Stiles' jeep so I parked next to it.

"Thanks for not killing me," Isaac said as he hopped out of the car.

"Shush Claire," I giggled.

We walked to the field and I saw Allison and Lydia. I waved goodbye to Isaac as he went into the locker room and took a seat next to Lydia.

"Hi Elise," Lydia said. "Allison's been talking non stop about Scott ever since we got here."

Allison laughed nervously. "Lydia, my dad's here."

"You're practically obsessed. Besides, Scott never stops talking about you," I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Do you like the signs we made?" Lydia asked and showed me two large signs. We love you Jackson and Jackson is #1 was written in large letters.

Scott would definitely get angry at these signs. He couldn't tolerate Jackson. So imagine him seeing his girlfriend holding this sign.

"They're so cute. I wish I had thought about that for Isaac," I said softly.

"Ooh Isaac," Lydia nudged me. "How are you two?" She gave me a wink.

"We're just friends. Besides, there's someone else I really like," I said.

"Who is it? Greenburg? Stiles? Definitely not Danny. If it's Jackson or Scott then we have a problem," Lydia rambled.

"No, you don't know him," I said quickly.

"Woah," Allison mumbled.

The guys from the opposing team ran out on the field. They were so muscular and tall.

"Didn't know the other team was just a load of beef cakes," Lydia licked her lips excitedly.

"They definitely look stronger than our guys," I said, watching the other team warm up in front of us.

"Stay positive. I'm sure they can handle it,"Allison smiled.

Allison's dad rolled his eyes at us. He could care less about being here but probably was very protective of Allison. He looked familiar.

"Elise, Allison and I are going shopping tomorrow at the mall. Want to come with us?" Lydia asked, breaking into my thoughts.

"Sure, I'd have to ask my mom to see if I can though. She's weary of all of these animal attacks," I sighed.

"That's why I disagree with this lacrosse game. Animal attacks are more frequent at night," Allison's father finally spoke up. He eyed the woods across the lacrosse field.

"Dad, no animal is going to willingly attack someone with a crowd full of people watching," Allison mumbled.

"Ugh, so much gloom," Lydia drawled. "What have you been up to, Elise?"

"Well Isaac came over today and we watched The Breakfast club," I grinned at her.

"Are you sure there's nothing going on?" Lydia smirked.

"I swear there isn't. Besides, I have a rule against dating my best friends. It's a bad decision and I don't want to ruin a good friendship again," I Assured.

"Something like that happened at your old school?" Allison questioned.

"Yeah, my dad insisted that our next door neighbor Tony was so good for me. He was like this star baseball player but he was like three years older than me and was leaving for college. He was super nice but the second we started dating he was all manipulative and a jerk to me. Turns out my dad paid him to be nice to me," I trembled out.

"Well he sounds pretty shitty," Lydia comforted, grabbing my hand in support.

I was saved by awkwardness when the Beacon Hills players came out onto the field. Isaac gave me a small wave and joined the team circle.

The crowd around us had grown since we first got here and cheers rang up all around us as the game started.

Almost instinctively, the halos appeared. Scott kept flickering from yellow to red. He was in between mellowness and anger. Isaac stayed blue, channeling his calmness and Stiles had a green one, showing his inner peace. Jackson's halo flickered from red to green. Something was wrong then. He was showing anger and jealousy.

This definitely couldn't be good.

(A/N: I don't support underage or illegal driving. And no, Isaac doesn't like Elise and Elise doesn't like Isaac. It's super platonic because of how much they relate to each other and care for each other.)
