I don't remember going to Biology and I certainly didn't remember staying in the library for free period. But I somehow managed to end up in the cafeteria for lunch.

I had English, History, and Math after this.

I sat down next to Isaac and took the apple out of my bag. "Is it okay if Scott and Stiles sit with us?" I ask him.

"Sure," He shrugged.

Scott and Isaac came over a few minutes later with some interesting-looking school lunch.

"Okay boys, it seems we have gotten ourselves into a bit of a predicament," I said, in hushed whispers.

"Yeah, tell me about it," Scott mumbled.

"I am somehow connected to the both of you," I pointed to Scott and Stiles across the table.

"And she can do freaky things," Isaac joined in. This caused a raised eyebrow from Stiles. "Not like that Stilinski."

"I can see halos around people's heads. I can levitate and I can apparently make people pass out. There's a bunch of other stuff that I feel I can do and ever since I moved here, I've felt different."

We were interrupted by Coach Finstock who wanted to talk to Isaac.

"Look, what I'm about to tell you is between us three," Stiles said. "I think Scott is a werewolf."

"Just because I grow fangs and claws and I got bitten by something in the woods doesn't mean I'm a werewolf, Stiles," Scott sighed. They had obviously had this conversation before.

"You are a werewolf. It all makes sense now. You are a part of the pack I was sworn to protect," I said, connecting the pieces in my mind. "I've been having these strange dreams about the two of you for days now. What you just said, well, it all makes sense."

"See Scott? At least Elise knows what she's talking about. Well, sort of," Stiles said, grinning.

"Don't tell Isaac please," Scott said.

"Fine, but I still don't know what I am. Halos and creepy-cool powers aren't a human thing," I said.

"If you want, I can do some research," Stiles said. He looked like an excited puppy.

"Yeah, sure. That would be great," I smiled at him.

"You should come to the party with us tonight," Stiles said.

"I was already going with Isaac but I'd like to hang out with you guys there," I replied.

"Scott has a hot date," Stiles said, bumping his shoulder into Scott's. Scott just gave a small smile and blushed.

"Alright, I'm back," Isaac sat back down. "What did I miss?"

"We were talking about the party tonight," I said, grinning.

"Oh yeah, I don't think I can make it tonight. You know my dad," He said quietly.

"It's fine. I totally get it," I said.

"We can go together," Stiles said. "I'll be third-wheeling with Scott and Allison so you could hang with me."

I smiled. I guess I was making friends quicker than I thought. "Yeah, that sounds nice," I replied.

We ate lunch in silence and I enjoyed the comfort surrounding me right now. I really wanted to fit in but with the news of my father today, I knew I would be an outcast among everyone.

I wanted to ask Scott and Stiles if they had watched the news today. But there was a tug at the back of my brain, a warning sign to stop the words from coming out. Don't do it. It cried out. Their opinions don't matter. You are more powerful than their views. It was almost like a dull whisper. Like the voices in my dreams. Dull but loud.

The voices dimmed as I decided against speaking up. My head stopped pounding with the whispers surrounding me.

So I guess I had a bad decisions council in my head watching me at all times. Great.

Lunch rang and I headed off to class again.
