Luna's POV

Sleep circled me, never quite coming as I tried desperately to rest. Everything that normally helped me drift off was surrounding me, trying to lull me into slumber but my mind kept replaying the vision over and over. It was Lily. I could feel it in my very soul. If only I understood the message. Closing my eyes and kissing Bruno's arms that hugged me close, my senses focused on just his warmth, hoping it'd ease me to sleep.

A puff of his equally warm breath nipped at my neck where his lips grazed. "What is it Luna? Are you okay?" I hadn't meant to wake him and instantly felt bad. "Shh.. don't." He knew I was scolding myself, too good of an esposo. "Tell me." It was so lovingly spoken, wanting to erase all of my troubles and like a blanket already comforting me.

"I wish you could have seen it." His lashes painted invisible brush strokes over my bare skin, sending tingles down my spine as he listened. Squeezing me just a little harder to his chest, I felt as his velvety voice caressed more of my shoulder. "Who do you think she'll look like?" Although there was distinct interest in his question, I felt the edges of his lips turn up into a smile with the kiss he placed. "Hopefully just like her gorgeous mami, with a fearsome gift to keep all the boys far away." The prickles from his beard jolted my senses awake again and I leaned back, wishing I could just taste his lips for a moment.

"If she looks anything like Diego she'll be beautiful. Another pair of your green eyes to make me bend to their will." He knew I was weak for his deep galaxy filled orbs that always got their way. With the smallest pet to my cheek he shifted my body in his arms to gaze down at me. Those galaxies sparkled even in the darkness, probing deeply into my heart. "I'd rather know that whenever I looked at her, a piece of you rested in her wild spirit. Whatever color they may be, whoever she looks like, as long as you live in her that'll be more than enough amor." Time slowed between us with the barest of sounds leaving my mouth as my heart strummed loudly in my chest, wanting to answer his call. As if hearing those unspoken desires his hand cupped the back of my neck and pulled me up to meet his lips. The happiest of sighs hit my puckered skin before his mouth took mine, fondly kissing and pouring his love into each motion. The sheer satisfaction I felt from his emotions caused a faint gasp to fill the air between his kisses.

"Can you do the thing mi rey?" How else would I be able to sleep now with so much energy needing to be reigned back in. My eyes fluttered closed, feeling his hand smoothly grasp my arm where his name stained my skin. The smallest of kisses tenderly pressed over the letters before fingertips touched the skin. Perfect, I smiled knowing he'd see me beaming under him. A slow rhythmic figure eight skimmed my flesh, soothing me. This part of Diego's own ritual now something that brings me comfort. Abuela had later explained its significance, giving this gesture an even deeper meaning. "Try and sleep mi vida.." I knew that tone, determination creeping out. He wouldn't rest until I was sound asleep against him now. "And the other thing... por favor." My smile spread, hearing his appreciative groan as he moved his leg over mine. "Anything mi esposa." Like the most heavenly of whispers his lips kissed my forehead.

"Querida, the stars came out, just to catch a glimpse of your smile. The moon has whispered your name, into each sparkling star that catches my eye. Created from -" His graceful words faded into the night of my mind as dreams finally took me.

"- from stardust and love, you were born to shine. Your light the sweetest constellation that swept across the midnight sky. Go and shine now mi estrella." The melody that picked up Bruno's string of words was far too sweet, too delicate, melting into his deep tone in my dream.

"It's my favorite too mami." A harmonious cheerful squeak hushed through the void of this space in my slumber.

Lily? Before my drowsy brain completely fogged over the whitest glow consumed my dream as her giggle drifted away like a shooting star passing me by. Lily.
