Luna's POV

Either these boys and their love of pranks are rubbing off on Bruno or he's secretly the real mastermind behind all the high jinks that happen around here. "This is gonna be amazing." His arm hooked around my waistline, bracing me tightly for what was to come. I was on edge to say the least, fearing Benji's sharp claws accidentally taking a swipe at us, should he react on instinct alone.

"You don't think we can take him on?" He was reeling with excitement to give our Benjito a dose of his own medicine. It wasn't that I thought Benji would actually stand a chance against both of us, it was more the idea of what he'll end up plotting afterwards that worried me. Squashed papaya in my shoes had almost sent me into early labor with Diego. No thanks...

"Oh, his nine lives are up. But I'm fully putting all the blame on you for this. Just so we're clear." I kiddingly flicked one of his coiled locks from his face before taking his readied stance and locking my arm around his side. Ready as I'll ever be.. Bruno phased us both into Beno's room making barely a gust as we landed. He's gotten far too good at this and our entrance wasn't noticed by the tall teen sleeping over his bed like a thrown down rag doll. 'Go.', his merry call reached over the bond to me. I fixated on Benji's resting chest, taking easy breaths and knelt down at his bed. Reaching under the timber frame my fingers felt blindly for the bowl we had stashed beneath it the previous day and startled me when my skin touched cool liquid. We probably should have asked Julieta to be on standby, just in case but too late for those brilliant ideas now. No sounds could be heard but our unsuspecting dozen Benjito's light snores as Bruno got into position opposite him across his bed. 'Ready.', nodding and giving him my go, I brought the bowl of water up to meet his head on the mattress.

'GO!' Bruno's message through the bond was so impish you could hear his grin through it. In a rush I doused the water over our sleeping niño and not a split second later Bruno flashed and grabbed Benji's shocked body, phasing them right outside his window.

Luckily I could still see everything from where I kneeled on the floor and watched as the two of them thumped onto the grass where a blast of white dust shot out of Lo's own bowl. Ear-splitting laughs carried over Benji's coughs as he furiously wiped the flour from his face. It stuck in every crack and crevice where the water clung, making him look more lion-like than his midnight puma.

"Feliz cumpleaños!" All three of our voices thundered as I phased outside in time to join the cheer. It was quite comical to see Benji on the receiving end of this torture but it was Bruno's spirited chuckles as he helped clean off our birthday boys caked face that made it all that sweeter.

"You guys are the worst!" He coughed up white smoke with a small smirk hidden under all that paste. My mamá heart glowed as I reached for him and attempted to clean off more so I could see his handsome features.

"Well.. You're stuck with us so get used to it, mijo." The amber of his iris glinted at me and a deep amount of love looked back as I fussed over his sticky hair. He'll be fine once he hears what his present is, I smiled.

"Now get ready before we drag you down to the river..." Bruno phased the two of them back in his room and swiftly rejoined us again outside, leaving Benji's stunned glare eating away at our three victorious smiles.

"You got three hours Beno!" Lo added light-heartedly as we snickered at the way flour snowed from his hair, stomping off towards the bathroom. "Should we be worried?" He crossed his arms over his bulky chest and mused at what will likely be a new, most likely torturous, game for the boys. Both their devilish grins rose together at the thought.

"Ay dios mio.. Please leave me out of it, claro..." It was entertaining watching their eyes sparkle with ideas as I peered between them.

A tiny gasp popped out of Bruno before he disappeared from Lo's side, leaving his fading green mist behind. "Diego?" He raised an eyebrow at me and nodded towards the house. Even Lo could easily pick up on the subtle differences in how Bruno reacted when it came to Diego.
