Chapter 4

I head downstairs to find Jack.
I look around he is no where to be found.

"He left last night." Shawn says behind me.

"What why?"

"Because of what happened last night." He shyly smiles.

I hurry upstairs to find my phone. I dial is number.

"Hey." He speaks into the phone.

"Why did you leave?"

"You were pissed off , and I just left."

"Your such an idiot , you could have stayed."

"Sorry maybe next time."

"Okay bye say hi to Matt for me."

"Bye and okay."

I run back downstairs.
"Shawn."

"Yes?"

"Let's go out."

"I can't I have things to do."

"Ugh your so boring." I groan.

He chuckles "indeed I am."

I ignore him and grab my skateboard and decide to skate around.

I skated around and reached a store and I entered.
It was a skating store so I wanted some shirts and a new hat.

I picked out three new "Vans" shirts , and a new hat.
I walked over to the cash register , and set my clothes down.
No worker was there.

"Can I get some help over here."

"Yeah sure."

The boy walks over to the cash register.

"Sam?"

"Oh hey Erin." He smiles.

"Hi."

"That will be 30 dollars."

I handed him the money.
"Have a nice day." He sticks his thumb up.

"Have a shitty day." I call out.
He chuckles.

I walk outside with a huge smile.
I skate back to the house.
I see my moms car outside.

I open the door and try to make a run upstairs.

"Erin." My mom calls out.

"Fuck." I say under my breath.

"Mom." I fake a smile.

"Hey honey." She walks to hug me but I dodge it. She frowns but hides it with a smile.

"So what brings you here?" I ask.

"Just missed you that's all."

"Then why send me here?"

"Because you have been getting worse I thought being with your grandma would work."

"Well guess what it hasn't can I please go home."

"No."

I exit the living room and walk upstairs. I knock on Shawn's door.

"Shawn?"

"Yep."

Without asking permission I walk in.
"Hey please ask if you could in." He says seriously.

"Please ask if you could come in." I mimic him.

He laughs , "so what's up?"

"My mom is here , I don't want to talk to her , can we do something?"

"Sure how about a movie?" He suggests.

"Yeah sure"

He picked out Never Back Down.
"I love this movie." I point out.

"Me to." He laughs.

We laid down for the whole movie until I heard Shawn snoring his ass off. Which woke me up as well.
I get up slowly.

"You don't have to leave." Shawn says.

"No I really do , night Shawn."

"Fine night Erin."

"Erin wake up!" My mother calls out.

"What?"

"School!"
I get up brush my hair into a messy bun , a burgundy Huf shirt , and my white high top vans.

I hurry down stairs.
"Erin you ready?" Shawn smiles.

"If I wouldn't be ready then why would I be down here."

"Then let's go."

We race out the door into his truck.
The car ride was silent , I miss my skateboard already.
We got off the car and headed inside.

I got to my locker to find Cameron waiting for me.
"Hey."

"Hi Cam."

"Let's go to Art together?" He offers.

"I could walk myself."

"But I want to walk you."

"Okay whatever." I slam my locker.

On our way I crash into Sam.
"Watch we're your going." I snap.

"You crashed into me."

"Fuck off."

"Bye Erin."

I didn't even say goodbye I kept on walking.
"Do you hate him or something?" Cameron asks.

"No he's just annoying everywhere I go he happens to show up , and it's really pissing me the fuck off."
I sigh.

"Well it could be fate." He smiles.

"Fate my ass." I laugh.

"True." We walk into art.

We we're suppose to draw something that's important to us so I drew my brother. He is really important to me.

"Nice work Erin." My teacher gives me a thumbs up.

"Thank you."

"Want to go to lunch?" A friendly girl asks.

"I guess."

"My name is Maggie."

"My name is Erin"

"Nice to meet you Erin."

"Same goes to you."

Carter comes behind her and wraps is arms around her waist.

"Hey beautiful." Carter whispers in her ear. She giggles.

"Hey." She replies. They kiss right in front of me.

"You know what I'm actually not that hungry anymore."

She laughs ,"shut up let's go eat."

School went by so slow.
I waited for Shawn by his car and he was taking forever. I started walking. A car starts to approach me.

"Need a ride?" Sam asks pulling down the window.

"I'm pretty cable of walking home."

"Seriously I will give you a lift."

"I said no , go on , thanks though."

"Your so stubborn." He gets out of the car.

He walks over to me picking me
up and opening the door.

"Put me the fuck down!" I scream.

"You chose this." He laughs sittings down.

"I didn't choose shit." I say pissed off.

He just smirks and turns on the car.
