Chapter 31

"We made it!" Carter shouts.

We all cheer. "Everyone gather up for a photo!" Maggie shouts over all the parent's congratulating their kids.

Sam wraps his arm around my waist. Shawn places his around my shoulders. Carter wraps his arm around Maggie's waist. Cameron places his arm around her shoulders. We are all connected for the picture. We all flash big smiles.

Sam sneaks a kiss in one of the pictures. I smile. I'm glad I have friends like them. I wish I graduated with Jack and Matt as well.

"There's a party after this at Aaron's if you want to go or we could just hang out with each other." Sam offers.

"Sorry but I have plans. I'm going to Jack's house. His mom is taking Jack , Matt and I out to dinner."

"Alright. See you tomorrow then."

"Okay." I hug him and peck his lips.

"Love you." He kisses my forehead.

"Love you." I smile. He walks away.

Wow I actually made it this far. I didn't give up. I almost did at times but I made it.

"Erin. May we take a picture." Cameron ask politely.

"I thought you didn't want to talk to me." I remind him.

"Erin stop."

"I'm just fucking with you. Sure I will." I laugh.

"Asshole." He smiles.

"Perfect picture." His mom smiles.

I nod and smile.

"We better keep in touch. Alright ? I love you Cameron." I hug him tightly.

"I love you Erin."

I let go and walk away. I decide to call Jack.

"So what time you coming for me?"

"I'm a couple blocks away from your house."

"I'm not at home. I'm at the high school. Well just meet me half ways it's not far."

"Walking? It's fucking dark Erin. Just wait at school and I will pick you up there."

"I'm walking."

"So stubborn. Bye see ya in a couple of minutes."

"Okay." I hang up. I say my goodbyes to Shawn and my grandma.

I started walking and these high heels are killing me already. I seriously I'm so uncomfortable. I just want to change into a large t-shirt and jeans.

I hear a honk behind me an I turn to find smiley Jack. I smile and get into his car.

"Congrats." I hug him.

"Congrats to you as well." He says.

"I wish we graduated together." I sigh.

"I know. At least we graduate though." He shrugs.

"True. My mom didn't come. I at least thought she would." I say sounding hurt.

"I'm sorry Erin. At least the people who you love were there." He points out.

"Yeah. I love my mom. She might be a fucking bitch that doesn't care about me but I love her." I take a deep breath. Of course I'm going to love my mom she gave birth to me and dealt with my bullshit.

"Yeah. I understand." He grabs my hand.

I smile and look out the window.

We end up getting to his house and hour later.

"Oh Erin you look beautiful." Jack's mom runs and rushes to give me a hug.

"Thank you." I smile.

"Erin. There's my girl." Matt runs and hugs me tightly.

"I missed you."

"I missed you as well baby girl." Matt smiles.

"Wait are you and Matt something?" Jack's mom ask.

"No! I have a boyfriend already." I begin to laugh.

"I have a girlfriend as well." We all to turn to Matt and look at him suprised.

"What? Her name is Ana." He smiles once he says her name.

"Tell me more." I walk to him.

He explains how they met and everything she sounds amazing the way he talks about her.

"She's coming in 30 minutes." He smiles.

"Really ? I'm dying to meet her." I smile back.

"Erin come over here." Jack yells.
I walk over and he's holding Madison's hand ? Madison ? Fucking Madison?

"Hey Erin." She smiles.

"Hi Madison." I give her a fake smile. She seems to notice because her smile fades.

"You guys know each other?" Jack looks confused.

"Yes." She tells him.

"I wish I didn't." I mumble knowing they won't hear me.

"Well then that's great. She's my girlfriend." He has this huge smile.

"Girlfriend?" I choke.

"Yes. Is there a problem."

"No. I'm happy for you." I smile and walk away.

"Wait Erin." I hear Madison calling me.

"What?" I say harshly.

"I'm sorry that I was a bitch and caused problems between you and Sam. I just really like Jack he is so kind." She sighs.

"It's okay Madison. I'm happy for you guys. Hurt him. I will snap your neck." I look at her sternly but end up laughing and she starts laughing as well.

"Okay." She says.

Matthew comes over with his girlfriend. His hand never leaving hers. Aww there so cute. I wish Sam was here.

Ana, Madison, Jack , Matt and I hung out all night. We didn't end up going out and eating. We just chilled and told stories.

I miss times like these.
