Chapter 8

I get ready to go to school. Which I put on a black tank crop top , with a black leather jacket , ripped light washed boyfriend jeans , some black vans , and my hair straighten.

I hurry down stairs.

"Shawn , I'm ready." I shout.

"Coming."

He appears down stairs he looks cute.

"You look pretty today."

"You look nice today."

We look at each other and laugh.

"Lets get going."

"Okay Shawn."

We hurry to the car. I stay inside grabbing something to eat. I can't find anything.

"Hurry up Erin we're already late!" He shouts from outside.

"Calm down! , who cares if we're late." I shout back.

"Just hurry Erin."

"Leave then I will go walking."

I hear the engine start and I looked outside he was gone.

"Okay then."

I grab a granola bar and start walking.

I started walking and saw Sam. He was wearing sweats and a shirt.

"Hey Sam."

"Sup."

"You look tired."

"Thats because I am." He smiles.

"You look pretty today."

"Thanks."

We started walking to school , and we entered the gates of hell. Well at least thats what I think.

He hugs me , "bye see ya at lunch."

I smile and walk into class.

The whole period Sam came to mind. Like I have to keep my distance , he is going to end up hurting me. I have no more room for hurt. All my life everyone has hurt me in a way. I don't want Sam to be one of those persons. I need to lay low and forget about him. Yes I think I like him. I can't be with him. Anyways what guy would want a girl who is hated , fucked up , cuts ?
The bell disturbs my thought and I hurry out.

I hurry out and go to my locker where I see Cameron.

"Hey Erin." He rushes over to me.

"Hey." We hug.

"I heard what happen , I was going to go over but family emergency." He says referring to what happened the other day.

"Oh well it's okay , and what happened?"

"My grandpa ended up in the hospital , he had a heart attack." He says looking down.

"Aww Cam , I'm so sorry to hear about that , is he okay ?" I ask worried.

"well he is okay , but they said his heart could fail at any time."

"Just hope that everything will be okay , be strong cam." I pull him into a hug and kiss his cheek.

"Thanks baby." He says hugging back.

The bell rings.

"Shit we're late." As we were running Sam was looking at us the whole time. He looked at me with hatred in his eyes. What did I do wrong?

"Well bye Cam , text me later , or we could just hangout."

"Alright."

I sat down.
Poor Cameron. I feel terrible. His poor grandpa. Wait what is happening to me ? Why am I being all nice ?

It gets to lunch time. I meet up with Maggie.

"Hey doll face." She smiles.

"Hey ass face." I laugh.

"well fuck you to." She laughs.

Sam walked right by me without saying hi or anything.
What the fuck?

Durning lunch I was quiet trying to figure out what's wrong with Sam?
Did yesterday mean nothing to him ? It meant something to me .
He was fine this morning.

I'm done with this boy. I need to focus on keeping myself alive.

It was already time to go home so I started walking home. I turned the corner and saw Sam making out with some girl. I just roll my eyes and start walking.

"Oh Erin meet Sophie." He smirks.

"Oh Sam want my fist to meet your face." I scoff.

"Nah not really."

"Then nah I don't really want to meet Sophie."

He laughs , "why you mad?"

"Like if you care , and I have to be somewhere." I begin walking.

"Wait Erin."

I walked faster and then he grabbed my arm.

"What the fuck do you want?"

"Why are you mad?" He asks.

"Why am I mad ? You still have the nerve to ask me that ? , just leave me alone Sam."

"I can't just leave you alone , I feel like I'm meant to be with you , as if we are tied together." He says looking into my eyes. I turn away.

"Well tell Sophie to help get rid of that."

"No , I want and need you Erin."

"I guess we all can't have what we want." I yank my arm from his grasp and walk away.

I turned to see him scratching the back of his neck and sighing hardly.
