Chapter 20

Its been two days since the melt down. Sam and I haven't really talked since. I feel like he is mad because I was drunk ? I don't know. Is he mad ? What if he is hooking up with Madison right now ?

Stop over thinking Erin. Hes probably have just been busy these two days.

Busy ? He's probably just ignoring you like everyone else. The voices in my head scoff.

"Erin." Shawn knocks interrupting my thoughts.

"What Shawn." I say annoyed.

"Just wanted to tell you that after you left the camping grounds. Your grandma had a huge fight with your father-." I interrupt him.

"He is not consider my father." I roll my eyes.

"Sorry. Well then she slapped him. It just got ugly. He got mad. Then he got in his car and drove away."

"Really? Well thanks for telling me. Now let me sleep."

"Erin its 4:00 in the afternoon."

"I don't care. I'm not in the mood. So get out weirdo." I say throwing a pillow at him. He laughs and gets out.

I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. I was already falling into a deep sleep but I heard someone calling my name.

I sat up. "What!" I shout.

"Play Mario kart with me." Shawn shouts back.

"Asshole you wake me up just for that shit. But fine!" I sigh.

I walked into his room and sat next to him on the floor.

"How do you always win." Shawn smacks my shoulder frustrated.

"By winning." I laugh. My phone starts to ring. Maggie flashes on my phone.

"Hello."

"Hey Erin. I'm bored. Lets go out." She says.

"Yeah sure. Let me change though."

"Okay. See you in an hour."

I hang up.

"It was not a pleasure playing with you. I have to get ready. Bye."

"Fuck off." Shawn says escorting me to his door.

"I know where your door is. You don't have to walk me idiot." I laugh and walk out.

I put on white ripped jeans , a grey oversized t-shirt and my vans.

I walk downstairs. My grandma was looking at some pictures. I could see the tears forming in her eyes.

I hug her. I don't understand why. I just did.

"Thank you."

"For what?" She sniffles.

"For taking me in when both of my so call parents didn't want me anymore."

She smiles. "Well Erin. Your a beautiful young girl. You have such a beautiful soul. You just need to show it." She kisses my cheek and walks up stairs.

I hear a honk outside. I grab my money and walk outside.

I sit down in her car.

"Hey Mags."

"Hey Sammy." She smirks.

"Don't ever call me that." I sternly say.

"I'm just joking." She says in defense.

We soon pull up to the mall.

"Really Mags. The mall?"

"Yes Erin. Now get your ass off." She says getting off.

"Fine."

We walk into her favorite store.

"Does this look okay?"

"It looks nice." I say annoyed.

"Are you sure?"

"100 percent." I smile.

She smiles back and goes back to the dressing room.

She soon comes out.
"There. Let me pay for this."

I wait outside.

"Lets go eat." She comes out.

"Sure."

We sat down. She quickly began to eat her food. I just picked at it.

"You hardly eat." She says and grabs my plate.

She eats a lot. She never gains.

We started walking around the mall. I spot Madison. Minutes later Sam shows up next to her. They both have huge smiles.

My 'smile' turns into a frown.

"What are you looking-" Maggie says but stops once she sees them.

"That asshole." She blurts out causing Sam to look at us.

He walks over to us. I start walking away. So now he wants me ?

"Erin." He says.

"Erin." He raises his voice.

"Erin." He shouts grabbing my arm.

"Let me go."

"Why are you running away?"

"Why? Maybe because my 'boyfriend' of almost 3 months is at the mall with a slut. And is apparently to busy to talk to me? You haven't talked to me in two fucking days Sam!" I raise my voice.

"Look I'm sorry Erin. I just have been caught up."

"Thats my problem. I think that I'm something so important to you. In reality I'm nothing compared to important to you." I scoff.

"We are nothing. Just friends. I promise you." He says grabbing my hand.

"Why are you with me?"

"Why? Because Erin when I'm with you I feel something I never have before. You make me crazy , mad , laugh , annoyed , frustrated. I don't care. Isn't that what love is? Your laugh. Those eyes. The chance I get to see that smile it makes my whole day. I know this sounds cheesy but its all true." He says.

I smile. Wow he seriously made my day. I crash my lips on to his.

I break the kiss.

"Look Madison was my first love. I went out with her two years ago. I feel nothing for her anymore. Everything in my body is in love with you."

"Okay there. Stop with all this romantic shit." I laugh.

He smiles and hugs me.

"Lets get going." He holds my hand and we walk out.
