Arkala's Princess
Chapter 12
"Wow, she's good." I say.
"She is." My grandmother nods. I watch as Lyra races around the track on her horse. She's a really good horse rider, and I promised to come watch her when she competes.
"Go Lyra!" I shout, standing up.
"Your highness." A voice says, walking up to my grandma.
"Ashton, Trystan. How are you?" My grandmother says.
"Good thanks, and you?" Trystan says.
"Good as always." My grandmother says, as Trystan sits down next to me. I blush a little, and I try to focus on the racing in front of me.
"Hey, guys." I greet.
"Hey."
"Hey." Trystan and Ashton say at the same time. I laugh a little.
"So what are you doing here?" Trystan asks.
"My cousin's racing. What about you?"
"Eh. Just came." Trystan shrugs.
"Oh."
"Hey, you still up for the tour?" Trystan asks, and I look at him in the eyes.
"Yeah, of course."
"What tour?" Ashton pipes up.
"Nothing, nothing that concerns you." Trystan says.
"Sydney? What is he talking about?" Ashton asks, pouting.
"I-" I'm about to reply when I'm stopped by Trystan's lips on mine. My lips move in sync with his, and then we pull away, out of breath.
"Get a room." Ashton groans. Trystan gives me a warm smile, making my heart flutter, and I smile back.
"Ignore him. He's just desperate." Trystan says.
"I'm not desperate, what the hell?"
"Whatever you say, Ash."
"If anything, you're the one that's desperate, Trystan." Ashton says.
"Whatever." Trystan rolls his eyes.
"Shut up, Trystan." Ashton huffs.
"I like your outfit, Sydney." Trystan says, and I just notice how close we're sitting. Our arms are brushing against each other's.
"Thank you." I blush. Today I've got on another one of my crop tops, which shows my belly button, and a skirt that comes to about mid-thigh.
"Hey, I love your outfit today, Sydney." Ashton says, earning a punch in the arm from his brother.
"Thank you, Ashton." I smile. "Just wondering, which of you is older?"
"Trystan." Ashton huffs.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Trystan nods, smirking at his brother.
"Only by two minutes." Ashton says.
"So? I'm still older." Trystan says.
"Whatever." Ashton sighs, running a hand through his hair.

"So.... You liking it so far?" Kyle asks, as we slowly seat the music. I've been invited to Kyle's late birthday party in Icelea.
"Yeah... It's good." I smile.
"Hey." He lifts my chin up with his finger. "Is anything wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong." I say.
