Karl's shopping spree had happened a few days ago, he loved his new clothes and how the cold stopped bothering him. He'd also finished most of his drawings in his notebook for when he'd inevitably forget something or someone. All he had left to do was the three Princes' and the king's page.

He had time though, Karl thought as he finished Prince Technoblade's drawing. He didn't have enough information about him to start the descriptions and such, but it was a start.

He had time to spare, for once in his life he could take a break. He sighed happily at the thought, and then someone knocked on the door- Sapnap, Karl guessed.

Karl stood up and grabbed his notebook before going over to the door and opening it, it was indeed Sapnap who'd knocked, and he looked rather... excited.

"George, Dream, and I are doing training today, Quackity's watching as well to- 'Observe the strength of the army'- but I think he just wants to see buff people fight-" Sapnap explained quickly, Karl laughed in surprise at the last one and Sapnap's face lit up.

"I was just wondering if you'd like to come and watch, you could go to the library as well, I was just wondering." Sapnap offered, Karl smiled before nodding. "Of course I'll come watch! It sounds exciting!" Karl said and stepped beside Sapnap.

Sapnap grinned and led him to the Bridge, once the duo arrived at the opposite side of the bridge, Karl sat on a nearby bench that had a canopy of leaves above it and opened his journal while Sapnap ran up to George and Dream and began conversing with them. They were waiting for Quackity, Karl assumed.

This section of the bridge had a large fenced off area full of dull swords, spears, axes, all types of weapons. Karl guessed that it was specifically designed for sparring and duels.

A few minutes after Karl and Sapnap had showed up, a shadow appeared beside Karl and he felt another presence on the bench. He looked up to see Quackity, wearing a navy cloak this time.

"Good morning, Karl." Quackity greeted kindly, "Good morning." Karl responded in an equal tone, "Have they started yet?" Quackity asked.

Karl hummed, "They're deciding who's sparring with who right now, I think." Karl guessed, Quackity nodded, and George stepped out of the ring to sit next to Karl.

"They're sparring now?" Karl asked, George nodded and peered at him, "Karl Jacobs, right?" He asked politely. Karl nodded with a grin, "Just Karl is fine." He responded.

Their focus was pulled away from the introductions when they heard counting back from three. "Three." Dream said and tightened his grip around the wooden sword, "Two." Was Sapnap's voice, he dug his feet into the ground and his horns glowed a faint orange.

"One!" George shouted from the bench, startling both Quackity and Karl. Sapnap and Dream began circling each other, sometimes one would stomp their foot and the other would tense- as if they were trying to trick each other.

After many minutes of them trying to trick each other, Sapnap's lip twitched and he lunged, holding his sword with two hands beside his head. Dream blocked the strong swings of Sapnap's sword and dodged his kicks at the same time- if looked like some violent dance that the two had known since forever.

Dream suddenly blocked a blow from Sapnap and elbowed his wrist, causing Sapnap to stagger back with a hiss. Dream then jumped up and spun around with his sword, Sapnap jumped back to avoid Dream's deadly whirlwind.

Karl watched the entire thing on the edge of his seat- it was nothing like how people in Malevina fought. The hybrids used their traits to their advantage, Karl found as he watched Sapnap attempt to burn Dream's hand away, while humans relied on strength and reflexes.
