Tikki's POV

"Hey Tikki?" Plagg asks. We were sitting in the couch in oversized sweatshirts, blankets, and buttery popcorn. Television doesn't work in the miraculous so we're playing 20 questions.

"Yeah?" I say.

"I don't want to be a miraculous Kwami anymore," he announces with a solemn look on his face.

For some reason that question disturbed me more than it should have. What on earth is he talking about?

"What makes you say that?" I reply. I sit up and face him to find his face more serious than I think I ever have.

"I can't lose this," he says. "I don't think I can handle having a holder again."

"What do you mean Plagg?" I say with a worried expression.

"I've been thinking...I'm turning in my miraculous as soon as we get out of here," he says, making my heart stop.

"What!?" I exclaim, jumping up. "You are not leaving me Plagg!"

"That's exactly why I am turning it in Tikki! It was torture seeing you for twenty minutes every 20 years for a new holder switch. I was given a taste of what life could be like with you and then it was taken away every time..." He says, slightly raising his voice.

My heart melts at his words. He's really sweet but I don't want a different Cat noir...I need him! It's always been him. It won't be the same without him.

"Plagg I missed you every minute of it but-" I begin but he cuts me off.

"But I can't go through that again. I saw you for 20 minutes every 20 years! I was young and stupid but I'm not going to leave being sealed in here and go straight to a new holder to serve him. Gods knows when I'll see you again!" He says. "I-I just can't Tikki. Not again. Not ever please,"

"Then what are you planning to do after you quit, huh?" I say with an attitude, tears were growing in my eyes.

"I'll spend every minute of it with you!" He exclaims. "Master will detach me from my miraculous, find some other Kwami to replace me, and I'll be free. I'll be with you!"

"Plagg I'll have my own holder that I'll be serving. She can't see you. How am I even supposed to hide you?" I sigh.

"I'll visit you at night! I'll hide with you in her backpack, purse, bag, whatever! Point is I'll be there with you every second along the way," Plagg says firmly.

"Then what the heck am I going to do?!? You quit and you won't be my soulmate anymore! We'll be detached and I'll have a new other half!" I yell in his face. Tears were furiously running down my face at the thought of it. I stand up and begin anxiously pacing around the room.

"Don't even worry about that, he won't get near you and I'll make sure of it," he growls. "As long as I'm around Tikki, I promise I will always love you."

"Plagg I love you so much, more than you will ever know," I cry. "But I can't let you throw your life away for me. If your quitting, then so am I."

"Tik, I can't let you do that. I know how much you love serving as ladybug," he says, his face softening.

"You quit, I quit," I state, crossing my arms with a tear-stained face.

"Your unbelievable," he shakes his head, an amused smile growing on his face.

"Pesky cat," I roll my eyes. We were having such a nice time, till he had to bring that up. It was so peaceful up until our yelling match.
