"ARE WE GETTING CLOSER?" Kate shouted through the wind. She couldn't help but get a bad feeling about this. Lucy didn't know what to answer, even she was starting to feel afraid. She started to pray to Aslan desperately.

"Lucy!" The Princess warned, seeing a Telmarine about to approach them.

Lucy looked back and let out a shaky breath. There was no chance she nor Kate could survive this. But when she turned around for the second time, she saw the Princess stopping her horse, bravely getting ready to face the soldier.

"Kate! What are you doing?!"

"You need to get to Aslan." All Kate did was smile back at her before taking a grip on her sword. Lucy wanted to cry out, scream-she didn't want to lose her friend. But then she caught a glimpse of golden fur running through the woods and that's when she knew they were saved.

Aslan roared, causing the horse she was riding on to accidentally drop her. He jumped towards the soldier, knocking him out too.

Kate gasped seeing the lion, her whole body frozen.

"Aslan!" Lucy laughed in relief, running towards the lion to hug him. Aslan let himself be tackled to the floor, laughing too at the little girl. Kate smiled, climbing down her horse carefully before standing there, thinking that Lucy and Aslan may need a little space to catch up.

"Kate! This is Aslan!" Lucy pulled away from the hug. "I knew it was you. The whole time, I knew it. But the others didn't believe me."

Kate has heard stories of him and she adored each one. She kneeled, presenting her sword forward. Aslan nodded at her, gently speaking, "Rise, my child. I know you have questions." By the mention of this, the princess frowned a little. She got millions of questions but decided to only settle in one. Just for now.

"Aslan, why do I have memories of the world the Queens and Kings of the Old came from?"

"Your memories did not fail you, Aurora."

Kate and Lucy shared a confused look and the Queen spoke up, "Aurora?"

"I see Aliana hasn't told you about your family history," Aslan smiled, "Katherine Gornelle is the name your mother chose to call you after learning both your lives are in danger. I would want to share with you more, Aurora, but Narnians are in need of our help."

By the mention of her mother's name, Kate held her breath. Lucy noticed her discomfort and took her hand, squeezing it. "Come on now, both of you, climb on my back," Aslan invited them. The two girls giggled excitedly before doing as he told but before they could leave, Lucy asked again.
