IT SEEMED LIKE FATE WAS TELLING THEM TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS. A large storm has been bothering everyone in the Dawn Treader ever since they left Coriakin's island. No land has been in sight for days.

Kate could hear Drinian's shouts of commands to the crew working out in the storm to try to keep the ship afloat. She pulled her knees closer to her knees, anxiously chewing on her bottom lip as she watched the strong heavy rain unfold by the window. If she kept count, then it'd be fourteen days they've been stuck here.

The door slammed close and the Princess flinched a little, tilting her head a little to give out a weak smile towards Edmund, who draped a dry towel over her shoulders. It hasn't been long since she tried helping the crew out there too, but Caspian immediately took her in, scolding her carelessness over her health.

"So we're stuck here," Drinian started, pointing at the Eastern Ocean part of the map, "at half-rations, with food and water for two more weeks, maximum." Jareth scoffed at the Captain, "Are you saying we should stop?"

Ignoring the elf's comment, Drinian sighed, "This is your last chance to turn back, your majesties. There's no guarantee we'll spot the Blue Star anytime soon. Not in this storm. Needle in a haystack, trying to find this Ramandu place. We could sail right past it and off the edge of the world."

"Or get eaten by a sea serpent." Added Edmund, who had a silly grin in his face.

"We have to continue," Kate shivered, not finding what the Just King said funny at all, "The blue star is our only hope that we defeat the mist. And my mother-"

"Forgive me, your majesty, but don't you think it is a bit selfish? You're about to risk the lives of the crew members just so you can find the home of your dead mother?"

"Hey." Tewkesbury growled, snapping at the Drinian. "Watch it, Captain."

Drinian frustratedly closes his eyes then turns to Caspian, "I'm just saying the men are getting nervous. These are strange seas we're sailing, the likes of which I've never seen before."

"Then perhaps, Captain, you would like to be the one to explain to Mr. Rhince that we're abandoning the search for his family." Caspian finally interfered, his voice stern and dangerously low. Drinian humbly bowed his head, silent for a minute before speaking once again, "I'll get back to it. Just a word of warning, the sea can play nasty tricks on the crew's mind. Very nasty."

After the Captain left, the rest inside the room exchanged nervous glances.
