"MARIAGE. IT'S STRANGE ISN'T IT?" Tewkesbury slurred, exhaustion overpowering him yet he still managed to keep his eyes open. It's not every day he gets to see Narnia's beautiful bright stars that couldn't compare anywhere, even back at Avalon.

"That came out of nowhere," Kate silently laughed, being the complete opposite of him. She had her back facing the opposite way where he lays, her eyes closed as she tried to get some sleep. The only problem was she couldn't bring herself to nap peacefully as the fear of her nightmare kept coming back to her.

Tewkesbury licked his lip, adjusting his position to place his hand underneath his head, "I mean, do we get born just to be married? Is that the only purpose we have in life?" Kate's eyes opened instantly, she was silent for a few seconds before answering him, "You're a boy, Tewky. Unlike us women, you have the right to decline marriage."

"But Narnia's a free country."

"I'm no Narnian," Kate says sorrowfully. She wasn't a Telmarine either, and in conclusion, she just had no idea of her origins. "You are the Princess of Narnia," Tewkesbury chuckled breathlessly, his eyes fluttering close.

"Are you asleep?"

"No." Tewkesbury opened his eyes, or at least he tried too. He was tired and sleepy but didn't want to sleep just yet, so to keep him awake, he asked another random question. "Hey Cam, if none of these ever happened, and we were still betrothed, would you marry me?"

She didn't answer but it wasn't important anyways as his eyes closed.

Based on the soft snores of Kate's hearing, she assumed he was asleep. She sighed and sat up from her previous lying position, now staring up at the dark bright sky too in awe. Kate lost and gained a lot of things in life, She had lost her mother but gained a family, she had lost a family but gained friends, she had lost friends but gained Tewkesbury. Glancing at his peaceful sleeping figure, the princess scoffed softly, shaking her head.

That boy is a real pain in the butt but is a great (useless) company.

But she couldn't help but think when she's going to lose him too.

"Everyone leaves," Kate murmured underneath her breath, the light coming out from the fire she made earlier to keep them warm illuminating her features, "And when will you, Tewkesbury?" But the young Lord started to squirm in his sleep, sweat forming on his forehead as discomfort was written all over his face.

He seems to be having a nightmare. Kate carefully scooted closer to him, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Tewky, Hey, wake up. Tewkesbury." She gently shook him, her voice barely above a whisper.
